Please do start a proper poll! And I do call it anti-choice because that's what it is. And I notice that you didn't answer any of the questions. Also, as I already pointed out, I got pregnant despite all the odds against it, including taking precautions. And honestly, because I was so ill at the time, there was a question of whether or not it was advisable for me to carry the baby to term. It turned out fine but there was a period where many, many tests were carried out to see if the baby wasn't irreperably harmed. I think you're seeing things in such a black and white way and not realizing that life is just a series of gray areas where there are no absolutes. Very frightening, to tell you the truth. I get the feeling you were on the side of the wives in The Handmaids Tale.

And why is it that the anti-choicers are not answering any of my questions? I'm suggesting that the question of abortion be left up to women since some seem to think men should stay out of it (which is hilarious, considering who's driving the anti-choice movement). Nor do any of them answer my little poll. Hmmmmm....

Oh, and why is it that much of the rest of the civilized world seems to understand that while abortion isn't something anyone WANTS to have, it is sometimes the only answer, even if one doesn't personally agree with it? I mean, even in Ireland, where abortion is banned, people are constantly hopping the boat over to Britain to have abortions.

I answered the questions. Not to mention that while I was pregnant with my last child, I found out that I had Cancer, already in it's 3rd stage while only 5 months pregnant.

After a very long battle for my baby, she was born 3 weeks early so that I could have a hyst. to save my vital organs. I was 22 at the time. Please don't try to shove your concern down my throat about being a matter of life and death. Medicine is so far advanced, it's a rare occurrence that it should be necessary.
