Sounds like a great idea since Palin doesn't seem to know anything.

Palin's Katie Couric interviews are more than a little frightening. If that is reflective of her knowledge, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Too bad she's not sharing that knowledge with the rest of us.

Maybe she will start when they bring her out of hiding and let her be herself

Oh she is. On the 3 interviews she has done so far.
That is the Sarah Palin we all have gotten to know.
Sad.

If Palin was qualified to be vice-president, don't you think they would stop hiding her? People that are qualified for jobs can state their qualifications, while still being themselves. Just something to think about.

Are you kidding me? She was asked about her foreign policy experience and she answered that you could see a part of Russia from Alaska. Even the Alaska Legislative Digest called her out on this stupidity because Alaska is very internationally entwined. Anchorage has consulates of both Japan and Canada. Yet, when asked, she can't name anything! Because she doesn't know anything.

OLUMBUS, Ohio – “So I guess it’s my turn now,’’ Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska told a rally here Monday, saying that she looked forward to her big debate this week.
“And I do look forward to Thursday night, and debating Senator Joe Biden,’’ said Ms. Palin, whose uneven performance in interviews and unscripted events have sown seeds of doubt in recent days among some conservative commentators who support her.
“I’m looking forward to meeting him, too,’’ she said. “I’ve never met him before, but I’ve been hearing about his Senate speeches since I was in, like, second grade.’’
“I have to admit, though, he’s a great debater, and he looks pretty doggone confident, like he’s sure he’s going to win,’’ Ms. Palin, 44, said of Mr. Biden, 65. “But then again, this is the same Senator Biden who said the other day that University of Delaware would trounce the Ohio State Buckeyes. Wrong!”
The top half of the Republican ticket, Senator John McCain, continued to press his new populist themes, saying that the financial crisis was the result of “mistakes made in Wall Street and evil and greed in Washington.”
Mr. McCain continued to try to paint Mr. Obama as a tax-and-spend liberal. He accused Mr. Obama of failing to tell the truth at the debate Friday night about his votes in favor of budget resolutions that would have raised taxes on single taxpayers making $42,000 a year.
And he argued that even though the Obama campaign – and independent fiscal analysts – estimate that the Obama tax plan would cut taxes for 95 percent of American families, cutting more for middle class families than Mr. McCain’s plan would, his plan to raise taxes on the wealthy would ultimately harm the economy.
“Senator Obama’s record of higher taxes and more spending isn’t going to help ‘95 percent’ of Americans, as he likes to say,’’ Mr. McCain said. “It’s going to hurt 100 percent of Americans by growing government, slowing growth, and destroying jobs.’’
Mr. McCain defended himself from critics who said he had acted impetuously by returning to Washington last week to work on the bailout proposal, which some said had made a deal more difficult.
“Some people have criticized my decision to put my country first, but I will never, ever be a president who sits on the sidelines when this country faces a crisis,’’ said Mr. McCain. And Mr. McCain, who spent this weekend in Washington working the phones, but did not actually return to Capitol Hill , said: “I know that many of you have noticed, but it’s not my style to simply ‘phone it in.’ ”

This is what happens when you let Palin 'be herself.' What the fuck does college football have to do with the debate?

Yeah her smugness is so Bush-esque.
But then again, this is the same Senator Biden who said the other day that University of Delaware would trounce the Ohio State Buckeyes. Wrong!”
Right. Because comparing a wrong guess for a university game is like saying Russia can be seen from her back porch!

I guess she can't come right out and admit she's probably pissing herself at the idea of debating a man who is more than competent in foreign relations. Throwing fuel on the fire wasn't the brightest idea, though.

How stupid of her to compare a VP debate to a football game. You don't have a team to cover your ass, Sarah. It's just you out there. You and your brain that is empty of economic and foreign policy knowledge.
