Reminds me of the old joke of Jesus on the cross calling for Peter to come to him so he can tell him something. Peter gets beat by guards but struggles to get to Jesus to ask what he wants to tell him. He asks "my Lord what do you want to tell me?" Jesus responds, "I can see your house from here."

That is so funny. I can see it in my mind. But then, I'm a heathen

    Transcript from the Gibson-Palin interview:

GIBSON: What insight into Russian actions, particularly in the last couple of weeks, does the proximity of the state give you?

PALIN: They're our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.
If it wasn't an outright lie, then certainly a misleading manipulation and an avoidance of answering a straightforward question.

God I hope so. This is so ridiculous. I will renounce my new citizenship if McCain wins and will move back to Canada with or without my hubby. Don't know how my sister in winnipeg will feel about a pernament house guest though.

what is so funny about that to me is that the question part of the sentence was 'what insight does that give you'. She didn't answer that part because as we all know she has no insight.

Except that Obama never made a flag pin a central plank of his candidacy, doesn't talk about flag pins at every opportunity and doesnt base his foreign policy experience on whether the pin was made in china or not.
That just cracked me up. Well done, Grimm my boy, well done. I am gagging, positively GAGGING to watch this debate. Mr. butt and I are getting popcorn and everything.

Hubby and I were thinking about stocking up on booze and downing a shot every time she says something stupid or obfuscates, but we don't want alcohol poisoning.

I have to babysit my grandkids. They 8 year old might sit through it as he is interested in politics, I don't think it will hold the 5 year olds interest. they better be quiet though.

I think you are giving her way too much credit. I bet she doesn't even know half those places even exist.
