It's not as if Borders held her at gunpoint and forced her to do it. Palin agreed to do it, and then quit, as usual, before fulfilling her obligation. If signing a 1000 copies was too much, then she shouldn't have agreed to do it, in the first place.

This wasn't her first book signing event, so she should know the drill. And there are always other staffers at a book signing, trying to get everyone through since they have the math figured out (2,000 books X 30 secs ...)

God, I would love to see that bus in person so I could egg it.

You know, maybe someone else in addition to that dumb bitch Palin fucked up here: someone correct my math if it's wrong but at 1,000 books x 30 seconds for each book...wouldn't that take over 8 hours to sign every single one? No one is going to sign books for 8 hours, much less that dumb bitch Palin.

I think Borders knew the drill and much like Palin, was just out to sell as many books as possible...

Oh, I was just putting in example math. I don't know what the exact calculations are that they use, but I do know that they usually figure out that stuff in advance for book signings. I've been to a couple, and for the high demand ones, they always assign numbers, make the book-signing itself like a well-oiled machine, etc.

I'd say it would be the anti-christ but it wouldn't be nearly that smart given its parents...

And yeah, something like what Obama did, speed-signing would get 1,000 books done, it just leaves no time for face to face time or personalized signing. Which is fine as bookstores don't promise that. How embarrassing that even Glen Beck put her to shame though. She's so unprofessional.

So, you're saying that there are 1,000 people in EACH location that WANT a copy of this book? Hmmm. Guess I never considered that possibility.
