Seems lots of people say she bombed the Couric interview:

    Another bad interview for Palin

Sarah Palin got lucky on Wednesday. John McCain's announcement that he's suspending his campaign ensured that the spectacle of Palin's interview with CBS's Katie Couric would go relatively unnoticed. Considering Palin's performance, that will probably work to her advantage.

This was Palin's second major interview since being chosen as McCain's running mate -- third, if you count her sit-down with Fox News' Sean Hannity. (You shouldn't.) This time, fortunately for her, she didn't make any major flubs, didn't get trapped and reveal the depth of her ignorance, as she did when she was stumped by Charlie Gibson's question about the Bush doctrine. At some point, though, Palin needs to start showing something, anything at all. And she didn't do that in her interview with Couric, which was a mishmash of hesitation, fumbling and poorly recited talking points. The video is below; the second half of the interview airs Thursday night.

Saw the interview and it was apparent she had no idea what to say except for the talking points they had her memorize. Surprised no one has mentioned McSame bailing on Letterman and getting caught LYING with video to prove. Ha ha ha, Dave was so on the money on so many points and his "Hey John, I got a question, need a ride to the airport?" was priceless.

    So right.
I have a girlfriend who said she is voting for Mccain because "Palin is a mother like me and can relate."

    Um, really?

Also, I notice her body language is off in these interviews. She looks nervous/afraid. Prob cause she doesn't know any of the answers to the questions.

Both sides presidential and vice presidential nominees are parents. They can all relate.

^^ That's what I said, Twitchy! But apparently, because she has a uterus, she is more qualified than the others.

Palin realized she couldn't flirt her way to a good answer!

Please tell your dumb friend to do the rest of us a favor and not vote. She's done enough already by reproducing.

I agree and it saddens me that people base their votes on these stupid reasons. They are usually the ones who don't read the paper/watch the news/aren't current with the political debates.

    The fuck?!

I was waiting for Palin to tell Katie that she's the most qualified person on either ticket because of her 'executive experience' and watch Katie laugh in her face.

Ouch. This saddens me and embarrasses me as an American and as a woman.

Women in politics must feel ridiculed by Sarah's ignorance and inadequacy.

Yeah, she has a uterus but hates women enough to be pro-life even in rape and incest?? Please. . . move on, Palin.
