Giant prisons are being built to house prisoners that, as of yet, do not exist. 450 million hollow point bullets have been purchased by Homeland Security (these rounds are not used for training/range purposes. They're used by on duty law enforcement members and military). No fly lists are already drawn up and expanding. Invasive searches are soon to spread from airports to ALL ports of exit.
Where are you getting this information from?

Besides that, even if things are getting bad, convincing my family to leave the country, explaining to the rest of the family why we are leaving and having us looked at like paranoid nutjobs, and figuring out where in the world to live (because everywhere has problems), are all incredible barriers to the get the hell out while you still can plan. Unless I missed it, there's no progressive utopia anywhere in the world, is there?

And let's say I cashed out investments because of lack of trust in Wall Street, what would I do with the money? My little credit union is paying diddly squat on CD's and savings accounts. Plus cashing out 401k's and IRA's is really tricky. There are taxes to be paid. What you suggest seems impossible.

Yes yes, its all very depressing but last I checked this mess was making its way worldwide. Funny how everyone wants to debunk that Illuminati and NWO talk but its been speaking about this kind of thing since forever except its a worldwide problem. Like the economy, last I knew the entire World economy was going to the crapper.

You want to go that route it isnt a matter of an American problem. In fact, from what Im seeing, the appropriate answer is 'All of us are screwed'.

You want links? Go check out a conspiracy theory blog. VigilantCitizen has been touching on this since I dont know when.
UK to Propose Laws Allowing the Monitoring of E-Mail and Visited Websites | The Vigilant Citizen
Oh look, a fairly new article about the UK wanting to propose laws to spy on peoples Emails and visited websites.
Researchers Develop a Speech-Jamming Gun That Can Silence People From a Distance | The Vigilant Citizen
Old news but this speech jamming gun, what the heck do you think thatll be used for? Children in Chuck-E-Cheese with their families?
London Police Using Surveillance System to Monitor Mobile Phones | The Vigilant Citizen
London Police monitoring mobile phones now?

And this is just three links. Im sure theres more on there. The conspiracies and Illuminati stuff may well be a load of bull but Im sure theres some gems in this site and many others, stuff no one wanted to believe but is coming true. As I said, it looks like there will be no escape.

The DHS contract is an IDIQ contract. Purchase limit is 450 Million rounds - that doesn't mean the Government is going to purchase that much. The bullet is described as being designed to retain weight (not fragment), prevent collateral damage (not hit other stuff), and avoid over penetration (not go through someone and hit other stuff).

So, sounds like the world really will end in December.
