as i said in an earlier post, it is likely that she had an NT, it is very reliable and non-invasive. palin did not specifically say which kind of testing she had done, but i assumed that it was the NT. as for amnio and cvs causing miscarriage, the rates for this are very low if you go to a good perinatologist. however, if you go to jim the moose butcher, who knows?

NT is for screening. According the papers Palin said "genetic" testing "confirmed" Downs, to me that says a karyotype. It makes no sense whatsoever to be anti-abortion in the case of rape and incest and then go and have amnio for the sake of your own curiosity. I already know she's a hypocritical sack of garbage, so I'm not saying I believe she's as concerned about the fetus as she pretends to be, but there is a huge lack of consistency in those actions. If you are 'pro-life' you don't put the fetus at risk, period.

"NT is a screening test only and cannot determine with certainty if the fetus does or does not have Down syndrome, only if your risk seems to be high or low."

Sorry for posting this perez pic, but I just now noticed how
weird Bristol's dress is "hanging" there. Gives me memories
of some of Katie "yes I'm really pregnant by the midget"
    Holmes pics.....

the NT is a screening test, but can tell with a certain probability if there is a problem. it is considered pretty conclusive although not 100% like amnio (which is more conclusive that cvs). i can see someone doing the test even if they are anti-abortion, they might want to know if the baby has special needs so that they can do research or prepare for it.

Speaking of conspiracies, I think I may have found one.
Sarah Palin looks like Peggy Hill and McCain like Cotton « Gina Alcocer-Deckard’s blog

It's the only explanation for some of Palin's past behaviour.

Once again, Palin had genetic testing that confirmed the Downs in December, according to her. That is either amnio or chorionic villus. I can't see someone who is as foaming at the mouth, rabidly pro-life as she is risking any harm to her own fetus when she requires all women (and girls) who are victims of rape and incest to carry their pregnancies to term no matter what. Unless she's a completely hypocritical, lying, fake, p.o.s.
    Hmmm...

Ok... I could have sworn that this is a recent piture of the family. So here Bristol is clearly NOT pregnant, than a few weeks later she looks like this?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but something isn't adding up here.

No, I think the top picture was from when Barracuda was sworn in
    as a governor.

This was another interesting pic taken during the Repug convention, though:

I think that top picture is from when Miss Mooseballs was announced as the most unqualified VP candidate in U.S. history.
