    I would think tumors would be a bad enough side effect that most people would be willing to try a different approach, but I guess not.

    It means, if embryonic stem cells have shown that they can cause tumors or cancer in people that get them injected, while adult stem cells haven't, perhaps they need to use the older stem cells so there is less chance of mutation occured. They could set it up so people get paid for it, like donating blood. People would line up to sell it. That way, they could still do their research with the safer material.

    tumors are not a death sentence! it depends on the type first of all and then go about removal if necessary or shrinkage if deemed necessary too
