I worked for a company that helped consumer products companies market and sell their products. I had a wide client base and it was like this everywhere. You could not be seen with a competitor's product of any kind or you would be looked at negatively, and in some cases asked to leave. They took this stuff very seriously. I couldn't call someone else in my own company who consulted for a competitor. If found out, they would ask you off of their business.

At least they aren't owned, bought and paid for by Big Oil like some other party I could *cough-Republicans-cough* mention.

What's the difference? oil, pepsi, pharma, automotive makers, banks, credit card companies......does it make a difference which corporation owns you? If they own you, they own you.

Both parties are owned outright by corporations.

Big difference between multinational oil corporations that routinely murder the natives of Liberia and Nigeria and the soldiers of the US Military in their quest for record profits and a soft drink company insisting that a political party limit what type of drinks they bring into an arena.

my point in posting wasn't about the pepsi arena...this article was just a little sketch as an example of the big picture......

It's about our government being sold out to corporations.....who are picking up the tabs for BOTH conventions......

Well of course they aren't going to allow coke into the PEPSI CENTER. No matter who has a get together that is their center and their rules. It has NOTHING I repeat NOTHING to do with the democrats. Stop nit-picking for Christ's sake
If I can't be a good example, then let me be a horrible warning.

I have clarified more than once in this thread that it wasn't the Pepsi center that was my point. So if you want to talk about nit picking lets start there.

and I believe that I mention BOTH parties...... unlike so many here I don't believe one is better, more pure or holy.....I see them as equally slimy, just in different ways

I used this Pepsi sketch as an example.......but here's some more

Excuse me for thinking you might have been blamming the Dems, since you usually are so kind to them and have nothing but kind thoughts, my bad.
