Grimm's just being a draft-dodging bleeding heart left wing pinko. He'll go and live in a shack in the Yukon when THEY come looking for him.

I had to register for the draft in 1980 here in the good old USA. Me and my friends dropped some acid and signed right up.

Thankfully, the military still doesn't permit "out" gays to serve. I was always grateful that if my number ever came up, all I would have to do is go down to the recruiting office and suck some dick.

I don't get the outrage over the draft when so many countries, some in *gasp* Europe even, have compulsory military service, for a period of years. Either way, it's compulsory, only here, it's only compulsory when war is declared and Congress institutes the draft. We haven't had a draft since Vietnam. And we should get Bush and Co. out of office before they try to bring it back.

I suppose it's the fact that I have zero trust in our government to use common sense and do the right thing . . .
Don't worry about what other people think. They don't do it very often.
