I would love to have more 3rd party options. I'm more of a Libertarian bent. I think the government should stay out of my wallet and out of my bedroom.

"There was clearly no mandate to shift the country to the left on social issues," Perkins said. "What Tuesday was, was a fact that people wanted change, and it's a rejection of a moderate view."
And the Republican Party's stupidity/implosion/civil war is heating up.

    Shhh, shut up ya'll!

Let this crackpot pursue his ideas of moving the GOP even farther to the evangelical right than it already is. Let him alienate even more of the American public. Don't let him in on the secret that this is the 21st century where his wornout platitudes and 19th century strategies are DOA.

If he gets a whiff of reality he could become dangerous. These people can be persuasive to middle-of-the-road voters who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground and think the pinko's are still a threat to their comfy Barcalounger lifestyle.

Leave him to his delusions. It's safer that way. Keeps him on the fringe as a prehistoric lunatic.

    5) they nominated a corpse who had absolutely no charisma or new ideas for governing this country

    6) for his vp, he chose a right wing nut job who doesn't have two brain cells to rub together

Bush and his cohorts are the worst things ever to happen to the Republican party. It will take years to recover from the damage they did to the image of the Republican party.
