The 1st polls are now closing and they are already calling some races. Please join me in a toast to Tim Russert. He would have loved this race. I still miss him.

I feel really nervous about this one. It was interesting to look at a chart that showed Obama's big lead collapsed after that 1st debate.

Right now, Obama's leading in FL 55% to 45%. Virginia is tied at 49%.

But how is Roseanne Barr doing?

Haha CBS just showed a polled where they asked who is responsible for the hard economy. 40% said Obama. 51% said Bush. LOL Right now George Bush is sitting in Texas shaking his head and wondering when people will forget about him.

Notice how Bush and Cheney were nowhere to be found in Romney's campaign but Clinton was out helping Obama as much as he could. It will take decades to undo the damage that GWB did to this country.

Following this whole thing today. American politics is an interesting, and strange, creature. Like most people outside of the US, I'm hoping Obama wins.

I never used this before but Google has a map that updates automatically with election results. Not sure how accurate it is. It's early, but Romney has the lead.

I can't believe it's been 4 years since he died - time flies. He was so energetic and entertaining. I miss seeing him with his dry-erase board.

So true, LOL. As a Canadian citizen currently living in London, all my Canadian and UK friends are rooting for Obama, we feel he is, clearly, the lesser of 2 evils. American Politics, damn... so strange.

I'm very curious to see what's going to happen with Florida. Apparently all they've got for FL right now is just early votes and absentee and Obama is only 50k ahead.

Normally I absolutely dread the people handing out cards and talking at me going in, but they were pretty respectful today and weren't terribly pushy. I'll be so glad when the phone calls stop, the million signs disappear, and the damn commercials are gone. It's unbearable at this point. NC is really too close to call, but I'm really hoping there's a few surprised co-workers tomorrow. I was going to vote come hell or high water just to cancel one co-worker's vote out.

    I think NC is Obama...I'm looking at 53% 45
