Well, let's see Obama has 10 years of political experience while Palin has 11. Now let's break it down, seven of Obama's 10 years were in the Illinois State Senate and the other 3 are in the U.S. Senate. Of Palin's 11 years, 9 were in Municipal government as a mayor and on the city council, and the other 2 were state-level experience as Governor.

Palin has no experience on the national level and no foreign policy experience, and was yanked out of obscurity. Obama has been on the national scene for four years and as a member of the U.S. Senate reviews and votes on both foreign and domestic policy issues. Now, while Obama's three years of dealing with foreign policy issues may not be a lot, that's more than Palin brings to the table. But, then again, she was on the PTA.

That's what I find particularly offensive... that McCain seems to believe Hillary Clinton supporters were voting for her only because of her gender. It's condescending and untrue.

A lot of buildings in AK aren't that great looking. Remember, it's basically wilderness up there, and it's expensive to import things. There are a lot of great, beautiful older buildings, too, but just sayin', most of the state does not have the infrastructure of our cities down here.

I'm concerned McSame might die or mentally deteriorate while in office and leave us with Palin as our President. She isn't qualified to be VP, let alone our president.

Isn't the average life expectancy of a white man around 75 years old? If he was elected he would be in office until he was 76.

Isn't that a concern? Even if he doesn't DIE, he may become mentally incompetent to lead a country. Sure, he may live to be a mentally healthy 90 year old, but when you are his age, death is a serious possibility.

Yet another good point about how being governor of Alaska is not comparable in any way to leading a state in the lower 48. No infrastructure, low population, total economy based on oil/gas/natural resources = no clue abou the problems the rest of us face.

Daily Kos: Does Palin Have A Connection To The AIP?

More worms coming out now- it looks like that Palin is a member of AIP the Alaskan Independent party. They want a vote on secession.
