Today it was announced that about 500,000 more people viewed McCain's speech than Obama's putting him over at 38.8 million. Although it also said most turned it off before it finished for what it's worth.

Nope...Palin had 37 million viewers. While Obama had 38 million. Now, I do know that democrats tuned in to watch both Palin and McCain speeches.. They turned off his speech, so do they really count?!?!?!?

Honestly, I think a lot of viewers were like me, who tuned in last week for Obama, and then tuned in this week to laugh at McCain in comparison.

They'll try to spin this as an achievement for him, but it would have been better if fewer people watched his awful speech and the bored delegates that managed to show up (and still not fill the venue). He embarrassed himself.

I fell asleep on the couch after the first pause and smirk, LOL! When I got up she was still running around the delegates shaking hands and unfolding walkers after Elvis had already left the building. Not considered very "team" like and was commented on by several anchors.

Fucking the Redskins lost. We lose everything, dammit! Can't win a game to save our lives! LOL

    K, back on topic...

I find it hard to believe anyone wanted to see the Crypt Keeper. They said more people tuned in to watch Barack than the Oscars and the American Idol finale. How many people attended the RNC??? 10,000 right?

I know Anamishana- most bands don't like to play it due to it's smaller size. And these yahoos got free tickets and floor seats and they still hauled ass out of town.

    ^^Go Giants! Sorry, Cmmdee. I couldn't resist.

Obama had over 80,000 people listening to his speech at Invesco, McCain had rows of empty seats at XCel.

    Oops...

But Obama was carried on 10 channels...Palin was carried on 6...

So 6 of one, 1/2 a dozen of the other

No worries. Everyone else makes fun and is totally justified. Our team sucks. Haha.

I was listening to both conventions. I figured at the RNC's they may actually talk about important issues that affect every day Americans. They didn't.

Hey, the Giants sucked for years, so don't feel bad.

I love how the Republicans keep acting as if they're the party of change, after bashing Obama for using the change slogan. It's like the Republicans have nothing to offer but insults and poor attempts to morph McCain or Palin into the new Obama.

^^ You know, that really burns me up.

Mccain talking about "change this, change that." He needs to come up with his own shit. Seriously.

His old age is affecting his brain. Maybe he thought it was his campaign slogan to begin with. He's getting confused.

I turned it off as soon as he thanked the President for keeping us safe from more attacks. I started screaming at my TV about the fear mongering and decided I needed to watch an episode of Family Guy instead for my health!

This is probably the image that comes to mind when they say one heartbeat away from the presidency. Ha, ha, ha!
