I think Quayle is a fairly smart man, but simply wasn't qualified to be VP. But he is capable of being good at other things--I think he went into investment banking and made a fortune.

Palin, on the other hand, isn't qualified me what time it is!

I think that's the speech thing. Wasn't Reagan known as the Great Communicator or the Great Orator? Something along those lines.

McCain clearly meant the next Roger Clinton or the next Patti Reagan Davis.

Sarah Palin is the antithesis to Bill Clinton. Everything he is, she isn't.

Well, they're both adulterers. That counts for something, right?

I am going look up the Alaska governor race information. How bad was her opponent that she won?

I was thinking more along the lines of brilliant, good speaker, motivating, educated, free-thinking, but you do have a point.

    Good one!

I wonder if she twisted her head she could see Rhode Island from Alaska?

Alaska has islands, so she can identify with Rhode Island.

None of the links I've looked at seem to work.

Honestly, how did this woman even become governor? YOu know that the Alaskans are pissed she represents them on level. Much like how Americans feel about Bush.

    Thumbs down

“Holding Sarah Palin to just three interviews and microscopically focusing on each interview I think has been a mistake,” former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney told MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" on Monday. “I think they'd be a lot wiser to let Sarah Palin be Sarah Palin. Let her talk to the media, let her talk to people."

yeah, so we can see how she just repeats the same pre-scripted bullshit over and over again? So we can realize she has NOTHING to offer but to repeat what mr. mccain has told her? She's an idiot, a fucking joke, and I don't see ANY mistake in analyzing her statements, I mean we ARE suppose to vote for someone aren't we? and this is what we have to go by to make our decision. It would be a huge mistake NOT to be critical of our next possible VP. I bet she's working real hard on a fresh set of bullshit lines to repeat over and over again.. at least she SHOULD be if she doesn't want to make a complete fool of herself.
