Joe's a dick and Yemen is a failed state. It's completely and utterly gone as far as being a functioning state so what the hell are we going to bomb? And who is the enemy? The people of Yemen? The ones with absolutely fucking nothing, which might be why they're moving in droves towards anyone who offers one little iota of hope? Fucking Joe. Kiss my ass you dick.

Did Leiberman authorize the bombings that happened two weeks ago? I wasn't aware a CT Senator had that authority, but maybe something has changed.

I'm not defending Lieberman, but he was quoting an administration official, and the fact is that the current administration has ok'ed bombings in Yemen.

We've already started the ops in Yemen, and it wasn't Lieberman who gave the order.

It's not just you. People are just tired of war period, and how we as a nation have to go into it every single time something happens. When domestic issues aren't dealt with and are overshadowed by war, then people will take note.

So it's not you being narrow-minded; just us being observational and worried about our future.

Yes, no money for public healthcare, but limitless funds for the 4 or 5 wars we have going on at the moment....and then people wonder why Americans are disgusted.

    I agree with you.

Also I don't agree with the whole Israeli style of preemptive crap.

I'm not typically drawn to conspiracy theories but it sure seems weird to me that a terror attack took place this weekend and another that were both stopped and basically amounted to nothing.

Something is off here, feels like yet another set up to drag us into a foreign dispute.

That's how I see it too and I'm so sick of war. I just want us to get the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan. The thought of another pre-emptive is enough to make me want to burst a blood vessel. But, like it or not, we are the terrorists' number one target. I don't know what the answer is.
