This bitch sold out for $130k? Cheap whore. I would have demanded at least $500k.

    Ale‏ @aliasvaughn

    1. This is very relevant for reasons that seem to escape people. It's not about making any sleazy Trump voter change their mind, it's about Trump & GOPer's being publicly destroyed in credibility.

    The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

A former porn star reached a $130,000 deal just before the 2016 election to stay silent about an alleged sexual encounter with Donald Trump http://on.wsj.com/2FySXs3

    2. First off, let's dispense of the "they don't care" notion used at large, bc THEY DO CARE. NO ONE who DOES NOT CARE pays $130k to keep a woman they cheated on their wife with quiet.

    3. Second, some of the bigots WILL care, and this won't be about dumping Trump, bc they won't YET, but about DOUBT starting to make its way into their support. Much as they deny it, EVERY story has had an impact.

    4. Now for the main point: this doesn't only destroy Trump's credibility (moral and political with his "family values" BS), it destroys his character. AND it shows Cohen as someone whose priority is neither truth nor legality, but only "serving the boss".

    5. Why does this matter? Because this is GOLD for prosecutors to discredit them as people who lie, cheat and HIDE SECRETS, and nothing's better than stuff that can be proven with a CASH TRANSACTION to carry that point across.

    6. To be clear: the @WSJ reports that after her July 2006 encounter with Trump, Stephanie Clifford AKA Stormy Daniels received the payment through her lawyer, Keith Davidson.

    7. The funds, says @WSJ, were sent to Mr. Davidson's client-trust account at City Nationall Bank in Los Angeles (yes, they know WHICH BANK, too). Know what this means? It means it is ALL RECORDED AND even the WSJ knows WHERE the records are.

    8. Now, the comment from the porn star's lawyer makes everything all the more interesting bc he says "Attorney-client privilege prohibits me from commenting on my clients' legal matters" as he PREVIOUSLY represented her.

    9. WSJ naturally CALLED CIty National Bank, too and they "declined to comment". Now see, all this "no comment" is what one says when they can't say "NO it didn't happen".

    10. And what makes us CERTAIN that all this happened, and thus nails Trump and Cohen as liars and as people who pay off others in order to keep illicit affairs (literally) secret, is Cohen's laughable behavior with the WSJ.

    11. Read it for yourselves from the screencap bc I can't even type it. Cohen thought that a statement that HE SENT signed by "Stormy Daniels" denying stuff to WSJ would EVER be taken as evidence of truth?

    12. Naturally, Ms.Clifford AKA Stormy Daniels "didn't respond to multiple emails seeking comment." WHY wouldn't she comment if it was true that she denied before? Obviously, Cohen made the denial up.

    13. This furthermore shows how susceptible to blackmail Trump is, because of his numerous indiscretions. Another MAJOR point that helps prosecutors.

    14. If he paid $130k to a porn star, for her to stay quiet, one can only imagine what he would do if PUTIN was blackmailing him, with MUCH more serious kompromat on him. That is the bottomline.

    15. Yet again, there are RECEIPTS for this transaction at City National Bank in LA. So there's no escape (and stay damn well assured that Mueller/FBI have all of this).

    16. Trump and Cohen's character and credibility is shattered by this a lot more than any political act would. There are receipts, it's a transaction to hide an affair. It is PERSONAL and documented.

    17. And I'm saying this in the context of prosecutors being able to use this to prove, undoubtedly, that Trump is extremely susceptible to blackmail, and that his lawyer produced a false doc to WSJ to lie about a true story.

    18. This story completely discredits Trump and Cohen as witnesses. THAT is what matters. And it shows that Trump can be blackmailed VERY easily for MINOR stuff, so imagine what he would do for PUTIN if he had kompromat?

    19. So mull this over, and consider that this is NOT about how many GOPers will change their mind on him based on this, but about how this can be used by prosecutors when he is, for example, in front of a Grand Jury.

    20. Every story is part of a MUCH bigger one, that only Mueller's team and the FBI know in full (and Comey, in part at least). Think of it as a piece of the puzzle. This one? Is great to use to destroy a witness at the stand. /END

At a March meeting with members of the Congressional Black Caucus, a member relayed to Trump that potential welfare cuts would harm her constituents, "not all of whom are black."

Trump reportedly replied: "Really? Then what are they?" https://t.co/9aviGQoQrV

His staunch supporters are screaming "fake news", "he never called those countries shitholes", "his enemies (dems and Hilary and Obama, natch) made it up to make him look bad". They are either completely deluded or they are stupid or they are evil bigot fucks like their fat orange idol.
    Or all of the above.

An old high school friend posted pictures of Haiti directly after the 2010 7.1 earthquake that killed over 300,000 people. Rubble everywhere, as would happen in any natural disaster. He's using them as proof that Haiti is a shithole nation. There are pics that were taken after the last two major earthquakes in California and they look just like the ones he posted. I try SOOO hard not to get into politics on FB, but I couldn't help myself.

Ok, Tomi...so what shithole country did YOUR ancestors come from? Obviously, they wouldnt have left unless it

So now the shithole list includes: England, Ireland, Scotland,Wales, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Japan, China, Korea, Russian, Israel, Egypt...need I go on? If you're not Native American, you're from a shithole country.

Well. It pains me to think this but native americans also come from a sh*t country

Ale‏ @aliasvaughn @nytimes CONFIRMS WSJ reporting on Trump having a sexual encounter with a porn star in 2006 AND raises them with texts between the porn star and ABC News as well as Slate magazine re: interview to go public about her sexual encounter with Trump.

    2. NYT got notes, interviews and text messages between Stephanie Clifford, AKA Stormy Daniels, and ABC News and Slate magazine.

    3. Jacob Weisberg, editor-in-chief of @Slate said yesterday that the porn star confirmed her sexual encounter with Trump in interviews w/Slate and was tempted to go public bc Trump was LATE paying her the $130k they had agreed upon.

    4. The NYT has the TEXTS between Weisberg and the porn star, in which among other things she confirms that MICHAEL COHEN was the Trump lawyer speaking with her re: the $130k agreement.

    5. It gets better: the porn star "forwarded Weisberg a draft amendment to the original agreement, in which parties were referred to by pseudonyms." Weisberg SHARED THE DOC WITH NYT.

    6. So they used pseudonyms and it's all just hilarious. And Weisberg has all the texts proving this and shared docs with NYT. Weisberg said all convos were on the record, and when she stopped responding, he didn't want to go public with the story without her approval.

    7. ABC News also confirmed she was in talks with them to do an interview about her sexual encounter with Trump, but it all came to an abrupt end (OBVIOUSLY bc she was paid eventually, and she shut up).

    8. In short, there are MULTIPLE witnesses to whom the porn star herself spoke, and to whom she confirmed her sexual encounter with Trump, that she wanted to go public about. She then got paid by Trump's lawyer and shut up.

    9. Why this matters? Bc it shows that Trump is the EASIEST person in the world TO BLACKMAIL, which not only confirms Steele's report on this, but also gives prosecutors a GREAT argument in court.

    10. It also matters, as I've already said, bc it shows that Trump and Cohen BOTH do nothing but LIE and do so repeatedly, in order to cover up Trump's wrongdoing. They have ZERO credibility as witnesses.

    11. As both Trump and Cohen are being prosecuted for #TrumpRussia and other affairs and will be put in front of a jury at some point, Mueller with this story has documented proof of how they lie, cheat and deceive.

    12. The Trump troll crowd is going insane with this, desperately trying to use an evidently forged letter "denying the affair" while there are multiple witnesses who DIRECTLY spoke with the porn star, as SHE confirmed the sexual encounter.

    13. So, the whole point is, it's very obvious the porn star CONFIRMED to multiple people that the sexual encounter occurred and more importantly, it's very obvious that Cohen and Trump are lying through their teeth.

    14. Only points that actually matter are: 1) this proves Trump is extremely susceptible to blackmail 2) this destroys Trump & Cohen's credibility and shows Cohen goes so far as to forge docs to cover up for Trump. This is GOLD for prosecutors.

    15. Expect this to bite Trump & Cohen back BIG time, and not for the sex but for the implications I underlined. Of course it is also cheating, so bonus, it shows the complete hypocrisy of the Trump fanatics, who talk family values only to trash them to defend Trump.

16.So sit back and watch, bc it's things like this one that can make a big difference, especially for prosecutors. It's going to get crazier but this is a further step toward taking down the orange clown. /END

Hawaii just had an emergency message go out this morning that a ballistic missle was heading towards them and to shelter in place. The message clearly said - This is NOT A DRILL. Minutes later they retracted it claiming “false alarm” WTF is going on?

I am trying to figure out how the alert went out and the Dept of Defense wasn't immediately on it with a message to the world. I see it is being blamed on Hawaii as a state but come the fuck on, this is a WORLD issue with Trump's instigating and wanting to nuke North Korea. Hearing a ballistic missile is about to hit Hawaii/USA, would that not enact an immediate reaction from the Pentagon? Wouldn't US be shooting off anti-ballistic weapons? This should be a big fucking deal and the White House and DoD seem to not be giving the remotest of a fuck.

We are legitimately worried about a nuclear fucking war, in 2018.

Alert About Missile Bound for Hawaii Was Sent in Error, Officials Say

    By JOHANNA BARRJAN. 13, 2018

The authorities confirmed on Saturday that there was no ballistic missile headed toward Hawaii, minutes after an emergency alert was sent to cellphones there urging people to seek immediate shelter, leading to chaos and confusion.

“BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII,” the alert said. “SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.”
A corrected alert was sent out 38 minutes later. “There is no missile threat or danger to the State of Hawaii,” it read. “Repeat. False Alarm.”
The episode came at a time of heightened tensions with North Korea, which has said that it has successfully tested ballistic missilescapable of reaching the United States.

Representative Tulsi Gabbard, Democrat of Hawaii, tweeted shortly after the first alert was sent that she had confirmed that there was no missile.

Cmdr. David Benham, a spokesman for the United States Pacific Command, said in an emailed statement: “USPACOM has detected no ballistic missile threat to Hawaii. Earlier message was sent in error.”

Tommy Freeman of Kailua, Hawaii, said that after seeing the alert, he was “overcome with adrenaline — we thought we had 15 minutes to live.”

Traffic stopped, he said, with people running around in fear. “It was a weird pandemonium,” he said. “You could tell no one knew what to do.”

The false alarm caused widespread panic on social media. It was not immediately clear why the false alert was sent. Gov. David Y. Ige, a Democrat, said in a statement that he was working to figure out what had happened.“While I am thankful this morning’s alert was a false alarm, the public must have confidence in our emergency alert system,” he said. “I am working to get to the bottom of this so we can prevent an error of this type in the future.”

The White House confirmed that President Trump had been briefed.

Senator Mazie K. Hirono, Democrat of Hawaii, emphasized the importance of making sure that “all information released to the community is accurate.”

She added, “We need to get to the bottom of what happened and make sure it never happens again.”
Senator Brian Schatz, Democrat of Hawaii, tweeted a similar statement. “There is nothing more important to Hawaii than professionalizing and fool-proofing this process,” he said.

“What happened today is totally inexcusable,” he added. “The whole state was terrified.”
Angel Kay Uherek, who lives in Kailua, said that soon after seeing the alert, she began packing a bag, and she messaged her five children on the mainland to let them know of the threat.

Angel Kay Uherek, who lives in Kailua, said that soon after seeing the alert, she began packing a bag, and she messaged her five children on the mainland to let them know of the threat.

I’ve been here 13 years and we’ve had tsunami warnings,” she said. But with tsunami threats, “There’s more time than 15 minutes.”
And after recent standoffs between Mr. Trump and the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, she said, the threat of nuclear attacks is at the top of everyone’s mind.

“It just got real,” she said. “It’s not a joke.”
Wren Wescoatt, who lives in Manoa Valley, a residential area near the University of Hawaii, said he was sleeping in when he received the alert, and he immediately began calling relatives on neighbor islands.

“You wonder: What does seek shelter mean if we come under attack? What can we do?” he said. “My wife’s first thought was, do we have enough water? But does that really matter if a missile strikes Hawaii? It might be better to just hug the kids.”

Barbara Tanabe contributed reporting from Honolulu, and Christina Caron, Christopher Mele and Joumana Khatib from New York.
