    You just noticed?

I'm sick of this shithole, I want to go home....but I'm stuck here until the USCIS issues my husband's visa and we can sell our stupid house. Ugh.

We can bitch and complain as much as we want. You of all people, DH, shouldn't expect any less of us! I'd be concerned when people stop complaining. And you know what else? If you hadn't popped in here to express your aggravation about us bitching and complaining (I refuse to say "whining" because that implies the topic being whined about is trivial), I may not have considered the importance of mid-term elections!

The point is, people waste a lot of time and effort whining about Bush. We get it. He's bad. Let his record speak for itself. We should be focusing our energy on DOING SOMETHING TO STOP HIM instead of just whining and complaining. We can actually try to pack Congress with Democrats...we'll have the chance in 2006...and if we can actually get a majority, his hands are effectively tied for the rest of his presidency. Think about it.

    *grits his teeth*

    I'm being good.

    *sweats*

Actually, the fuckwad conservatives in league with the fucking socialists up here are trying to bring down the Liberal government by the end of the month... First the conservatives get in league with the Quebec seperatist party to do it in the beginning of the year, and now the socialists are trying to grab for power by allinging themselves with conservatives.

Wtf is going ON up here.. the whole government has gone insane.

I'll give some people the benefit of the doubt and say this: just cuz we're bitching in this forum don't mean we ain't out there trying to change the tide! Ok, I'm not but I suspect those who come on here with facts to back up their "whining" are the same ones who vote in the primaries and mid-terms.

I bloody well hope that people on the web DO get off
their asses and vote, because middle-aged property owners
in Texas and Ohio sure as hell vote for Bush. "Home ownership,"
goes the saying, "marks the beginnings of conservatism."

I've read that in 2000, 50,000,000+ voted for Bush and
roughly more than than for Al Gore. But 79,000,000 eligible voters
    stayed home.
Bush got 28%; Gore got 28%. 44% that could
    vote didn't vote.

I own a home and I don't vote Republican, though I don't own a home in Texas and probably won't for years.
