I can't even imagine either one of my daughters putting up with that 24/7. I don't even think I could do it and I am a supposed adult.

There were rumors she was pregnant. I don't know I did not pay attention, I will have to look.

    And the backlash continues...

some of my idiot 'friends' on Facebook are already bitching about him and I've received 2 emails about 'civics' and how basically Obama just told us what we wanted to hear, etc.

Already sick of it. Come on people...

I just watched a primarily black student marching band play a rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" at the Inauguration parade of Barack Hussein Obama.

    Surreal exhilaration!!!! OMG.

Yeah, everybody in my office thought Aretha tried way too hard. We tried to like it - after all, she's a hometown Detroiter. Just couldn't do it.

Does anyone know which dress The First Lady chose for tonight?

She might have had to wear some bullet-proof clothing under her dress, which might also explain why she chose a stiff fabric (so it wouldn't show up as much). Just guessing.

I thought Jill Biden's dress was too short. She looks great, but it lacked dignity.

Nah, I don't think so, I think she just has wide hips and the bulky fabric she wore because it's cold visually added pounds.

I can't wait to see what she wears at the balls tonight. Hopefully it will do her justice.

Thanks for the pics, lurkur. Biden's boots weren't as bad as I was expecting. From everyone's comments, I thought they'd be some shiny red laceup number or something more porny. They're a bit sexy for the occasion, but not too bad.

I heard on the news about an hour ago that she hadn't made a final decision yet. I hope it's not purple. I'm tired of all the purple that was worn in this campaign.

She didn't try to hard, she couldn't! Add the fact that she's a very large lady(with limited air sometimes), and that it was 10 degrees outside...she did a damn good job!! Plus, the bow on that damn hat was restricting..

Mary J. Blige is wearing some killer shoes. It will be so nice to see this attractive couple dance together. I hate to say it but the last romantic presidential couple I remember on the dance floor were Nancy and Ron Reagan.

Oh give me a break. People are just excited because it appears, after eight long, long, long years, we might have someone in the White House who will do good with the office. Give us all a moment to celebrate this and then let's get down to business. Being a pessimistic naysayer is not really going to solve any of the myriad problems this country faces.
