Roe v Wade survived Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2....

in the past 40 years we've only had 12 years of democratic presidents....and 28 years of repubs......and the law still stands...

Judges appointed by the repubs have not always voted against R v W....and judges appointed by Dems have voted against it.....read up on it, it's not as straightforward as people would have you believe

It's not a chance, it's proven fact....This has been an issue to me that I am personally active on since I went on my first pro choice march back in the 80's.

Scotus judges appointed by both Bush 1 and Reagan have upheld Pro-Choice decisions on abortion. Judges appointed by Clinton have made anti-choice votes.

The interpretation of Constitutional law is what the supreme court decides, and clearly the judges haven't always voted as the President that appointed them would have.

Abortion is the dems false terror, like terrorism is the repubs.

I thought she did a good job. It did seem like she was still campaigning at the beginning of her speech but then she turned it around and thought about the greater cause. "No Way, No How, No McCain" I really liked that quote!

I don't think either of them will do a damn thing. The same person in a different suit. Change for this and change for that but yet they still can put food on the table for their families and make damn sure they get their fucking raises every year. Not impressed by either party.

I felt she did a fabulous job. I liked that she started off so strongly about herself. I took it as a way to connect more closely with her delegates to soften the transition as then handed them over to Obama.

Yeah, I liked that quote, too. And her delivery of it just gave it more weight.

I thought it was a truly inspiring speech but I gotta admit I'm surprised that so many people were "shocked" by how well she did. I still wish she was on the ticket but she did what she was supposed to and helped unite the party.
