i think she's great. i think so many people hate her or are afraid of her because she's a woman that does politics like a man - she's aggressive and ambitious and not afraid to show it. and she's not shy about wanting power. i think she would make a great politician, plus there would be the added bonus of bill as first lady.

What would his title be? If the president's wife is the First Lady, would he be the First Gentleman? He'd still be Mr. President, would they be announced as Madam and Mr. President when they entered a room together?

Even that small point shows how much indifference there may be. Obviously, some change is going to be in store for America. I'm just curious as to what.

Here's a question:

Can she have Bill as her Vice Presidential candidate??? Or, because of his 2 terms as President, is he excluded??? Does the constitution exclude him from being her running mate???

Not that I think she would ask him to be her running mate, but hell, anythings possible right?????? OR, maybe Obama and her could run???? Getting way ahead of myself I know.

does anyone else think if she won, she's likely to be assassinated? I think that people would rather see the first Black President than to see the first female (of any color) president... Just wondering what your thoughts are on that??

I dont think so; I think the sad truth is that the White majority won't likely give that kind of power to a Black for another 50 years or so.
sad and pathetic but true and honest.

Really??
I've had several conversations of the same topic with a couple of people over the past few days (my roommate, the woman I'm student teaching with and another school employee) and we all agree that there'd be a woman president way before there would be a person of color in office.

My teacher said that her husband had actually commented on how closely Obama is to Osama and how that alone would freak out enough people for him not to win the election (but I guess he thinks everything is a conspiracy theory so idk, lol).

Anyway, I definitely don't think that the USA is ready for a black president.
