    The scary thing is, yea the fundies can be counted on for things like this, one of the main proponents for the initiative for 'straight' marriage is straight out of falwellsville, but everyday "normal" people who aren't particularly religious nor extreme from outside appearances can be against gay marriage, for whatever reasoning.

    There are a lot of closet bigots out there.

    This is good news; hopefully it'll bring us one step closer to legalizing gay marriage in the US as a whole.

    Personally I don't care if gays get married or not; it does not affect me at all. I don't think anyone has the right to tell gays that they cannot exercise a right that all heterosexual adults have, i.e. getting married. Who am I to tell them no?
