I just said the other day I'd like Olbermann to put in a bid for the dinner with Palin and he did it tonight on the air. And for some reason, he was the first and only bid. Poor Palin.

He did note that you had to be "pre-approved" to submit a bid. That might be slowing things down a bit. It would be awesome if he did end up winning.

Yeah, the blogger Shannon from Alaska even said he probably wouldn't make it by the pre-approval. But it would be funny if he did.

It'd be even better if he got to have dinner with the Palins, bring Letterman along and secretly film the entire thing!

That would be perfect. But Palin would probably start screaming that it was a secret plot to get 'pervert' Letterman near her 'virginal' daughters.

I see she now has 14 bids with the top one at $37,700. Bet she's hoping Olbermann won't be the top bidder.

I wonder if those 14 bids are coming from liberals/progressives taking Olbermann's lead and trying to fuck with her?

I'd bid, but only if I could puke on her after I ate.

Honestly, I'd rather the dinner with Karl Rove. At least he could teach you how to be a slimy fucker and get away with it.
Palin would just make me want to rip my eyes out.

Or conservatives who go ga-ga over her and want to fuck her.

But if it's conservatives who love her why did they wait so long to bid? Unless, they think they can protect Palin from Olbermann by trying to out-bid him.

I don't think they took so long. The auction started this week, yesterday specifically if I recall. Considering it requires bidders to be "pre-approved" it really hasn't been that long.
