In a statement to The Post, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said, "[Kelly] was displeased because he was expecting a full breakfast and there were only pastries and cheese."

She's almost as funny as her father.

By the looks of the Huckabee family, they were probably only disappointed that there wasn't a big pitcher of gravy to pour on top of it.

Something shady is going on with this nomination....

Hooooooold on a minute. What happened in 2017 that allowed Brett Kavanaugh to suddenly repay upwards of $200,000 in debts that he'd accrued over about a decade?

His job didn't change and he's reported no additional, exorbitant income.

Trump arrived 30 minutes late to today’s NATO summit, missed his scheduled meetings with at least two world leaders, prompted the secretary general to call an emergency session, held an impromptu 35-minute news conference, and is now leaving for the airport go fly to London.

At NATO dinner last night, Trump bragged about Kim Jong Un summit and said he called golfer Jack Nicklaus to say, "They have 1,000 cameras at the Oscars and we had 6,000 cameras in Singapore. The buzz was fantastic,” an attendee tells WaPo.

I can't believe that Huckabeast claimed John Kelly was pursing his lips because he didn't like the breakfast, and not because of what Trump was saying. So, you'd rather have the chief of staff look like a rude guest and petulant toddler at a world event rather than admit he didn't like what the boss was saying. The lengths they will go to to protect Trump is astounding.

FBI agent Peter Stzrok: In the fall of 2016, I had info that could "derail, and quite possibly, defeat Mr. Trump. But the thought of exposing that information never crossed my mind....This investigation is not politically motivated, it is not a witch hunt, it is not a hoax."

Supreme Court nominee ran up his credit card bills by buying Nationals tickets: report

Days after he was nominated for the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh was found to have piled up thousands of dollars of credit card debt by buying baseball tickets.

The Washington Post reported the news Wednesday, citing White House spokesman Raj Shah in its report. Kavanaugh is apparently a big Washington Nationals fan. The tickets were said to be for him and several friends.

Not only did Kavanaugh pile up the credit card debt by buying Washington Nationals season tickets and tickets for playoff games for himself and friends, but he also incurred debt from home improvements, per the report.

The White House didn’t comment directly on Kavanaugh’s fandom, but said he “is a brilliant jurist who has dedicated his life to public service.” And someone dedicated to public service certainly deserves a ballgame splurge every once in a while, no?

He ran up between $60,000 and $200,000 in debt split among three cards and a personal loan. According to filings reported by the Post, the credit card debts were paid off in 2017. Well that, or they were low enough to not have to be reported.
