I'm not disagreeing with you on that...like I said..they all do it.

But I just think your original statement should have read
"Funny how these politicians speak out of both sides of their mouths".

It's troublesome to me when one party line honestly believes their candidates or politicians can do no wrong while any and everything the other side does is all BS..no matter what!

I'm an independent and I get annoyed w/ my lefty and righty friends b/c their heads are so far up their asses that they can't even see another point of view.

No side is perfect and they all tell lies and flip flop and for the most part they all tell us what we want to hear.

True, both Democrats and Republicans speak out of both sides of their mouths. Neither party is perfect, but I'll take the Dems over the Republicans any day.

He is Bush's puppet plus he's trying to round the conservatives. I was listening to that shit to and it is unbelievable. Same results from the same ole' bs.

I agree. I'll still take the democrat side too though. McCain says that he is going to educate people for the jobs of tomarrow, well tomarrow wont have any jobs if he keeps sending jobs overseas! Obama wants to end the wars, and keep jobs here as well as get a better education so that we can become a stronger country, mentally. Truthfully the US was a little better when Democrats were in office.

I heard Condi turned that job down a long time ago. She wouldn't need to be vetted. Smart, smart woman. I'm sure no fan of her policies but she would have been a much better choice.
If I can't be a good example, then let me be a horrible warning.

Smart woman who's been an abject failure in her office.

A smart woman with a PhD should be "smart" enough to see that the policies of the team she's on DO NOT WORK, and historically never have.

I suppose that would be asking too much of "smart" people though.

No one attached to the Bush administration was getting anywhere near this ticket (Tom Ridge anyone?)...

They wanted absolutely no Bushies....first convention in over 40 years where a sitting president didn't come.

    What does that tell you?

    Crowbar separation

Condi would have been a better choice than Palin. She's obviously smart enough to stay away though!

Did she turn them down? Because as much as I loathe her, I wouldn't feel insulted by the choice of Condi. But the word is they are giving everyone a wide berth that had anything to do with the Bush admin. They picked AK and Palin for a reason, because she can't be linked to geedubya. That is such an interesting answer she gave. It would crack me up if she came out in support of Obama, it really would. She better keep her distance, though; I think Michelle can take her.

I bet it's intoxicating, in a blinding way, when someone calls you up, or appoints you for something like this. And you never want to imagine how badly it can go. With Condi, it ruined her. Pretty much the public faces of that admin are disgraced. And how do you sleep at night knowing how much death you are responsible for. I'll quit, I'm bumming myself out.
