^^I think most people know that Clinton was a good president, and left this country in good shape. I voted for him twice. But Monica-Gate was part of his presidency/legacy, and it's a goldmine for jokes.

    Right.. because he has none.
At least he isn't a lying warmonger who sends people to their death in illegal wars.

the writer is just guessing the meeting was closed and no one knows what was said. I can imagine not much of anything was said, unless Bill just sat there and chuckled a bit about Palin.

Agreed. I think over time, the Monica situation will be more downplayed and his actual policy is what he'll be remembered for.

The fact that Clinton had a higher approval rating, post-impeachment, than Bush has now says a lot about the president he was and will be remembered as.

I kinda see your point, but it's an old tired joke that totally undermines the great things he did as a President and I do get a little bothered to hear it repeated by Democrats. I expect it from Republicans because they are so obsessed with sex.

Republican or Democrat, a sex scandal stays with a politician for the rest of their lives. And considering that Bill got impeached for it, which was a bunch of crap, he's always going to be associated with Monica-Gate. And it doesn't really undermine the good things he did as president, but it will always be a part of his legacy.

    Everyone has their vices..

Seriously though.. my rule #9 was meant in jest. King got it and went with it!

I mean no ill will towards Clinton... I voted for him. I think he and Hillary are a little self-serving sometimes but they are politicians.

Hey.. whatever helps Obama get the win!
