I'm pretty convinced she had some sort of an earpiece in. It would look noticeably awkward to have her staring off into space before she answered a question or while Biden was talking so whenever she had to listen she would avert her eyes downward and just shuffle whatever she had on her desk.

She was looking at her notes but she didn't have any earpieces (that would of been too obvious) and had her talking points memorized.

^He wrote some notes down but he didn't come with any notes beforehand. I don't ever recall him once looking down and reading something.

For a while I thought I was seeing something like the battery pack Bush had 4 years ago in the second debate with Kerry. But then, I rewound to the beginning, and her jacket looked flat (fitted) against her back when she came out. So, I guess the dress and/or jacket was just stiff and made funny wrinkles when she moved around. (Mark of cheap clothing)

I think she just memorized all her lines. I don't think she had any note cards; in fact, I believe the candidates aren't allowed to have written materials at their podiums (which was why Bush was wired 4 years ago).

I think she survived on simple rote memorization. It hit me on her 3rd or 4th answer that she was speaking so quickly because she was just reciting and not thinking on the spot.

God, both those videos were great. I hope Letterman hammers her day in and day out.
