    Hillary as VP would have the rethuglican moderates on TOP of the undecideds and the base out for her blood.

    TOO MUCH BAGGAGE.

    I disagree. Obama's biggest problem is Obama, not his VP pick. If it weren't for his opponent's sex scandal, he'd never have made it to the Senate.....

    all my posts are valid and unemotional in factual content. I just throw in a few "FUCK" and "RETARDS" to describe the people who dare contradict said facts

    I won't argue Biden, its only my personal view ... Clinton would have completely united the party and shut the door on McCain picking a woman to try and steal the PUMA's.

    One reason I see it as a "rookie" mistake is b/c they seem to have failed to game out their opponents positive opportunity reaction.

    I fully concede hindsight is 20/20.

    I meant Jack Ryan's scandal which ended up with Obama winning since Ryan's replacement was much less popular. But if Republican Ryan had not had the sex club details come out, it is fairly certain that he would have won.

    IMO, candidates choose their VPs in one of two ways - (1) to win an election or (2) to serve in office. I think Obama went with option 2 - he picked someone to serve with him, not someone that was going to guarantee him a victory.

    Your opinion, so I won't bash it - from my experience #2 rarely comes into play politically. Biden is confusing to me, Palin actually makes sense!

    No wonder I'm in therapy.

    I hate to be the one to break the news to you, BUT those hard core right to life republicans are ALL HERE ALREADY lined up behind Sarah Palin. At least in my senario, there would have been the correct person to take her down without anyone saying 'That mean man was bullying Mama Down's Syndrome last night in the debate'.

    Yes, that's one advantage weighed against the irrational hatred of Hillary by all stripes of Republicans.

    They're all out there already, which is why this is a dead heat now. I dont get this thing where you think the Republicans only appear at the voting booth to thwart Hillary, Grimmlock. Had you been living in America during the last two general elections you might have noticed that Hillary was not on the ballot and the Republicans (bafflingly enough) voted in W twice. I am sure you will be able to come up with some way that it's all Hillary's fault, if you think about it long enough. I will be interested to see how Obama and Biden handle Palin. Or were you thinking Hillary should take care of Mrs pit bull for them?

    *sighs and rubs temples*

    Frankly, hillary is irrelevant, she's not running, she's not on the ticket, I don't fucking care about Hillary, her PUMA's, her dementoids, the people that WONT LET IT GO, or otherwise.

    Hillary = zero sum topic

    I'm not attacking you, but why do people keep assuming that the party would've automatically united completely behind Hillary? There are Democrats who don't like Hillary, and I'm not just talking about some Obama supporters. I mean, let's not forget Hillary came in a distant third to Obama and Edwards in Iowa, and the exit polls showed that most of Edwards' supporters would've voted for Obama over Hillary if Edwards hadn't been in the race.

    If Hillary was on the ticket with Obama, Palin would have never been put on the ticket! I say again. If Obama made the choice to put Obama on the ticket, McCain having to make his VP decision after Obama would not have chose Palin..
