They're probably banking on the real name for his political party, the National Socialist German Workers' Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei orNSDAP); eventhough it was a fascist party.
I wonder how many of these fuckers wouldn't mind Hitler's policy of gassing the gays.
Oh and Hitler = fascism, not socialism. Epic fail.

I think you hit the nail on the head. Some people just get off on seeing themselves as victims. And it's usually the people who seem to think that the world is suppose to fit into their own narrow-minded view.
And with the idiots like Joe The Fake Plumber, Fox News, Palin, and the GOP stirring up the nutjob things are going to get violent at some point. And that's when the proverbial shit will hit the fan.
LaRouche is a special kind of crazy. I forget he's still around. His pamphlets can be quite entertaining.
People say "He's so far right" or "He's so far left." And I'm sure if you look at one or two anecdotes you can persuade yourself of either position. When you read his brochures, it's clear that he's in some parallel dimension where left and right have no meaning.
When LaRouche ran for Congress in 1990 from his prison cell, his campaign slogan was "George Bush, read my finger!"
"Aliens! Bio-duplication! Nude Conspiracies! Oh my God, Lyndon LaRouche was right!" - Homer Simpson.
All of God's children are not beautiful. Most of God's children are, in fact, barely presentable.

I was in New Hampshire during the campaigns last year and was out in Manchester only to come back to my car with the most vile flyer under my windshield wiper. Saying all sorts of disgusting things about black people and immigrants and how the country will go to hell if a horrible word got elected. Pure hate, it was painful and ugly, I ripped it up into 1000 pieces. That was last December '07 before Obama even had the nomination- I mean, John Edwards was still running! So unfortunately, all these fucktards frothing at the bit is not surprising. They've been waiting for this.
But Barney Frank is so my hero for dealing with that dummy, go Barney!
Enjoy the liquor and delicatessen.
You're assuming a certain level of intelligence for these idiots. If you watched the LPACTV video, they're using White House and press statements knocking "death panel" statements down as evidence for their "theory" about Obama=Hitler. The LaRouchies have been using Obama=Hitler for months now. The "conservatives" like the chick shouting "Heil Hitler!" while wearing an Israeli Defense Forces t-shirt (ugh, the mind boggles) are just now latching onto this Hitler meme, probably because they don't have anything to stand on and Obama doesn't support "biblical values."

A conservative Michigan blogger is accusing Democrats and “union thugs” of “planting” a man holding a sign comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler at a town hall meeting held by Rep. John Dingell (D-Mich.). The evidence: One FreeRepublic.com member claimed to see the man (who was African-American) passing out Dingell literature.
The truth is a little murkier than that. The man was a supporter of fringe Democratic activist Lyndon LaRouche, whose LaRouchePAC has been running with the “Obama=Hitler” theme for a few months now. That “I’ve Changed” poster seen at the rally can be downloaded as a PDF from LaRouche’s Website.
Conservative blogger Stephen Gutowksi pointed out the LaRouche connection in a video linked by BlogProf, the Michigan conservative who questioned the Dingell event.
What’s this mean? It’s really not good for conservative opponents of Democratic health care reform plans when their fellow activists are pictured with signs comparing the president to Hitler or accused of painting swastikas on congressional offices. The solution: Blame these incidents on “plants” or call them hoaxes. If they want to know how hard this will be, though, they should ask the anti-Iraq War protesters who watched coverage of their events focus on the craziest, fringiest people there. The LaRouche cultists are not “plants.” They want, sadly, to be allies.
That was from a week ago. Here's a little more on it from today:

The Weekly Standard’s John McCormack has another duplicitous blog post — he did the same thing last week — arguing that because the disturbed woman at Rep. Barney Frank’s (D-Mass.) town hall was a “LaRouche Democrat,” she doesn’t represent opposition to health care reform. It’s really beneath him, but he’s done it again. No one disputes that LaRouchites are on the fringe — but it’s indisputable that they are fringe Democrats. They oppose Obamacare because they want a single-payer plan. This is misleading. The LaRouche cultists oppose Obama’s plan because they think he’s trying to euthanize old people and the infirm. They oppose it for one of the reasons that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) oppose it, and they’re providing a lot of the “research” for this smear. Instead of grappling with this or rebutting the smear, McCormack smears Democrats, who have repeatedly purged these conspiracy theorists from their party.
McCormack again:Just as it would be unfair to assume that all Think Progress readers are idiots who call conservatives Nazis just because a few commenters do, it’s a cheap trick to pretend that the few people who show up with Obama as Hitler signs are representative of the protesters. This is gibberish. Conservatives are pointing to town hall protests as evidence that the country is turning against Democrats’ proposals for health care reform. It means something that deranged political activists are showing up to these rallies and mouthing some of the same rhetoric as conservatives.
If McCormack has a problem with “cheap tricks” in coverage of protesters, he has a problem with The Weekly Standard, which honed in on the fringe elements of liberal/anti-war protests of representative of everyone who opposed the war in Iraq.
So true, so true... It's like the summer cleaning of closet crazy this month.
I thought it was common knowledge tht his party's name was shortened to the National Socialists.... or maybe I just know too much due to family history.
It was the single women & gypsies that went first, along with the mentally ill (& probably the gays - even if it was probably still illegal...)...... Oh yeah, plus anyone with different political views - so maybe they should apply it to themselves????

I just don't understand the hate. I know it sounds dumb, but I don't.
Do these people not know what Hitler did? Him and Obama have NOTHING in common. I find it scary that anybody chooses to believe so.
Here's a new level of crazy, one that I could never imagine: those that believe in abortion should abort their kids 'cause it would be less people demanding health care. The balding guy actually says that!

What was I supposed to say to this? Last week, I attended a town hall meeting in Virginia. I sought out a couple that looked kinda grumpy and started talking with them. Our discussion was pretty far-ranging, and, in the end, I left thinking that these folks were people I wouldn’t mind having as neighbors, regardless of how much we disagree about politics. But this was tough to stomach. . . I mean, how do you get to where this guy is at? Seriously, he thinks you can’t be a good parent or love your kids if you are pro-choice? Weird.

Maybe that guy's mother should've aborted him, and then we would've been spared that psychotic dribble.
