Default Where are John McCain's kids?

Why do we only see the one blond one? I haven't seen any others. Anyone know why?

I think one of the son's deployed. Bridgette's in school?? I don't know, your guess is as good as mine. Sarah Palin's kids are at rallies with her. Barack Obama's girls were at school and then he took them trick or treating this evening..

Dunno. I think a few of em are on the road with him. But I don't think he trots them out a lot you know? The one, Megan, is probably the most visible. Maybe she LIKES the attention?

There's the one adopted kid too-she must be thrilled.

    Hmm...good question.

Personally, if I were his spawn, I would be too tied up in paperwork related to changing my name and birth certificate to make it to his rallies.

Not to be cynical, but I think his adopted daughter wouldn't play well with his constituency, and he can't exactly show all the others and exclude her...out of sight, out of mind.

I don't even know how many kids he had with his first wife, Carol (?), but he seems to have a good relationship with them. One of them works for Cindy's father's company, and another one is a military lawyer or something of that ilk. He's about 39 and he's the one who recently got sent to Iraq.

Megan is about 26 and is the one who's out campaigning for him. The younger daughter, the adopted one, is a teenager. I saw her in the audience at the GOP convention and I guess she is either shy, a surly teenager, or just not that into it. I have two teenage daughters myself and it is like pulling teeth to get them to do stuff, esp if it involves dressing up and being nice (this is particularly true of my 14 year old).

I believe McCain is on good terms with all his kids (not like, say, Giuliani) and I respect that he doesn't trot them out for show all the time.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad he doesn't trot them out too, but it's weird how you see one of them, but I haven't seen any others (not that I really watch anything having to do with McCain). I was laughing when the whole family was on People b/c a) I didn't know he had that many kids b) the adopted daughter was down low on the left hand side of the mag -- not with the rest of the group

I find it interesting the only one we see/hear from is the Cindy clone.
