I went to the Obama rally this Saturday that was in Virginia.
It was at the University of Mary Washington and there were 26,000 people there.
It was insane!!!!!!!!!!! People had the funniest shirts and pins and signs: Vets for Obama, Firefighters for Obama, Your Momma for Obama, Bye Bye Bush, the list goes on and on and on.
It rained like a motherfucker and we all stood in that mess for hours before he and Joe Biden came out.
But it was such an amazing experience. I got some good pictures and overall will say that there was such happiness there. I felt such a sense of 'glee' being there. I can't explain it. But seeing so many people come together to support him was just, wow. It was truly just an awesome, amazing feeling (insert more of Katie Holmes-esque descriptions).
Am glad I was able to be a part of that.
