Now if only McCain would've lost his temper and said that louder.

But it explains why he wouldn't look at Obama. He didn't want to lose his temper, which he would've done if he had to look at him.

I agree and it showed how much he disliked Obama - but people should have raised this point if anyone tries to defend McCain. If he couldnt look Obama in the eye how the hell can he face world leaders he cant stand - it will MAKE him look weak.
I think the next debate is going to be interesting - Obama could use this for his own advantage especially if he can rile him up and I dont think McCain will adhere to his handlers/advisors suggestions about his demeanor and body language.

Blow baby blow. Come on let's liven up these debates.
If I can't be a good example, then let me be a horrible warning.

If Obama brings the big guns and prods him properly, he can, without a doubt, cause that man to blow up and show his true form. He was turning so red last night, I knew he was moments from a meltdown, but Obama kept backing off.

Obama, next time he looks a bit shaken and you feel the need to lighten up...DON'T!

    Exactly.

That's where Obama made his mistake. He had McCain right at the edge of exploding, and he kept backing off. McCain showed that Obama can rattle him, so Obama has to use that to his advantage in the next two debates.

Maybe Obama is waiting until the last debate so McCain won't have much time to defend his outburst. He could even jokingly mention how McCain is unable to look at him.

^That's what I was thinking. McCain may do better with the town hall format but with the last debate focusing on the economy, Obama can just hammer away at him.

    More on McCain's temperament:

YouTube - Senator boxer on Mccain's Temper tantrums!

Wow at this comment if it's true:

"Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., told a Mississippi newspaper that he saw McCain, during a trip to Nicaragua led by former Sen. Bob Dole, R-Kan., grab an Ortega associate by his shirt collar and lift him out of his chair. "

I agree, I want to see McCain blow a gasket next time, so that there can be no question about his temperament and ability to gracefully make rational decisions and deal with other leaders.

You could tell he was having a mighty hard time keeping his temper under control.. obviously gritting his teeth and blowing air out of his nose.

ITA. It's the best strategy. Right now, McCain is probably thinking that he'll be able to keep his temper in that last one since he did it successfully last night. The last debate is the perfect time for Obama to deliver a KO and have McCain go mental.

I cannot wait! The spectacle of a presidential candidate melting down on camera isn't something you see every day.

Why is it McCain's supporters did not see the obvious during that debate? If he has such contempt, lack of temperament control, and hostility during a debate with a fellow American lawmaker, how is this man going to act if he is seated across the table from a potential American enemy?
