I bet Chris Matthews lost some money due to the crap thats going on at Wall Street. But I'm glad that the media is finally asking hard questions.

I felt bad for McCain's guy until he opened his mouth. Then I laughed.

Chris is usually pretty tough on the repugs. But this was especially nasty. gotta love it thogh.
If I can't be a good example, then let me be a horrible warning.

Who the hell is this joker? Is that the best they can do? They're not even trying that hard anymore. They think POW and Caribou Barbie can win on their personalities, I guess.

Of course Bush isn't going to make a speech to the nation. Because then he might have to explain how all the recent bailouts are going on the national deficit, which has now probably reached 10 trillion.

Exactly. I understand the severity of the situation, but throwing more money at it, making the defecit he created grow even larger-- but won't have to deal with anymore come January-- isn't going to fix shit. Naturally he won't speak for himself.

You will not see Bush speaking publically on any major topic until the election is over. The republican machine has instructed him to stay out of the spotlight, stay off the national stage and try to distance himself from the party. Thats the bottom line...if the American voting public see him on tv talking about this they will be reminded that the Republicans are largely responsible for the current economic mess we are facing.

Chris brought up a good point about Dubya addressing the nation. I hadn't even thought of that. You would think that the sitting president would want to come on television and explain to the country what's going on with Wall Street imploding. But I guess when you're partially responsible for that crisis you just hide and get drunk like Bush is probably doing.

If Bush talked, the stock market would go down even faster because no one has any confidence in him.

It IS interesting that these Republican representatives on TV will NOT ever say they are WITH the Republican party. They cannot bring themselves to let the words leave their lips.

Everyone needs to really watch that and think, do we WANT FOUR MORE YEARS OF THIS MESS. It cannot be said enough!

They cannot even take accountability for their OWN ACTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR THEIR OWN PARTY!
