Default Sarah Palin had affair with husband's business partner?

Well, the Enquirer was right about John Edwards, so.....here's the linky about today's article in the tabloid:

McCain Camp Battles National Enquirer Over Alleged Palin Affair

Also, someone on another forum heard from his Alaskan friend that Bristol is the other guy's kid.

Palin seems to have numerous baggage. The Republicans must be having a fit.

I think so- and there is apparently will be a follow up next week. Someone posted at DU that they know someone working at NE and they said the stuff they found is astounding.

Wow - the NE has been above reproach as of lately, which is weird considering its still a tabloid. I think they went through a major overhaul and lately they haven't been printing anything without names and numerous corroborations. They were dead on about John Edwards. If he wasn't off limits, why is she? They both deserve to be exposed, if this is true (and I'm thinking it may be).

^Yeah, I have the feeling they're not just going on a limb to fill space. There's a lot they could focus on besides an affair that no one knows about.

If this is true, it would be perfect! There is no way the Christian conservatives who are trying to twist the teenage pregnancy situation into a confirmation of Palin's family values, would be able to spin THAT into something even remotely positive.

A reader's comment posted on the blog:

It's a sad day in America when the National Enquirer is doing the vetting.

    SO TRUE!

Whats even better - the repubs went crazy over the Edwards story which c cemented the credibility of the NE.
They are now spinning the teen pregnancy and ignoring her other stories but they cant ignore this. There is no way on earth.

No, it better be true. The truth should come out and be displayed for all to see.

I think the mistake they made is that there was no vetting therefore no coverup- The rumours are saying that the NE and the Dems got there before McCain's staff went to whitewash things in Alaska.
And the NE seems pretty confident with their stories especially when McCain is now threatening to sue.
