Lack of experience? Sarah Palin doesn't even know what a vice president DOES
Quote:
Jed posted video of Sarah Palin admitting she really doesn't know what the V.P. does. Okay, here's the thing: The main job of the vice president is to become president if something happens. It's especially relevant when the possible president is 72 years old ("McCain's advanced age" is how a top writer at the right wing National Review Online puts it), has had cancer numerous times and wouldn't really show the media his medical records.
All of this makes Sarah Palin's lack of experience is disturbing -- and lack knowledge about her new possible job even more troubling.

If the Dems don't jump on that then they're idiots.

I wish she wasn't cut off mid-sentence so we could understand the context

The full context doesn't make her look any better. The fact that McCain only met her once back in February says a lot.

Are you serious??????????????????
Now I'm in even more concern for those voting for McCain. And she has the potential to be stupider than our current president. Even Georgie porgie puddin pie knows what a vice president does.

I find it interesting that you are concerned about those of us who would vote for McCain, when the democrats would nominate a person for president who has very little experience and has to try to define himself because he has accomplishmented hardly anything since the short time he has been in office.

What experience does MCSame have? Voting 95% of the time with Bush? Woo, that's experience.
How about the experience of him trying to pander to the evangelicals? That's some awesome experience right there. Nothing says fascism like government controlling someone's body.
How about being a POW? McSame made it possible for Bush to torture people the same way McSame was. That's some real achievement there.
Also, having the exact same creeps (Karl Rove) and economic advisors that steered the US into 10 trillion of debt IS NOT GREAT EXPERIENCE TO HAVE on a campaign..
Please.

Yes, we can be concerned, because McCain voters will vote for his hot temper, and a woman who public service career started roughly 10 years ago as a PTA member...

The experience question went out the window from Republicans when McCain picked somebody with less experience, especially on foreign policy, than Obama has. And with McCain's age, there's a good chance Palin could become president. At least, Obama picked a VP in Biden that shores him up in his weak areas and could take over if required.
And Obama has had about 18 months to make his case to be president, now Palin has a little over 2 months to make her case to be VP and potentially President.

I'm sorry, but all I can think of when I see Sarah Palin is....
KATHERINE HARRIS! Yes, the FL Secretary of State in 2000. HER.
McCain could have picked from a number of top, more qualified, female candidates. There were a good number of female candidates who would have been stronger competitors. But who did he go with? The hard-right, Christian, former beauty queen.
Its Katherine Harris, all over again.

So true. Olympia Snowe? Kat Bailey Hutchinson? Even Liddy Dole would be a better choice.
