Cindy McCain never met Mother Theresa, John McCain forgets how he got a daughter

How do you not remember, or remember when it didn't happen, that you met Mother Teresa? Even worse? How do you remember, incorrectly, that that is how you adopted your daughter? Here is what McCain's campaign Web site used to claim about his wife, Cindy:


Cindy led 55 medical missions to third world and war-torn countries during AVMT's seven years of existence. On one of those missions, Mother Teresa convinced Cindy to take two babies in need of medical attention to the United States. One of those babies is now their adopted daughter, 15 year old Bridget McCain.


It isn't true:


The McCain campaign had also put out the story that Mother Teresa “convinced” Cindy to bring home two orphans from Bangladesh in 1991.

Mrs. McCain, it turns out, never met Mother Teresa on that trip. (Once contacted by the Monitor, the campaign revised the story on its website.)


Seriously, how do you get the story wrong about how you found your daughter? And imagine had Michelle Obama, and her husband via his campaign Web site, lied about meeting Mother Teresa, let alone lying about how they came about having their daughter, apparently in order to pad their resume. Imagine the fireworks.

Not surprised.....Cindy strikes me as very brittle, phony, shallow, and downright unstable. Remember how she not only embezzled and stole drugs from her charitable organization to feed her drug addiction, she (with McCain & Co's help) then fired and harassed the guy who was going to blow the whistle on her. Of course, she also engaged in adultery w/John McCain while his then-wife recovered from severe injuries from a car wreck. Finally, there's a NY Post article today with her half-sister calling her out. Apparently, Cindy went to her dad's funeral years back and went on in front of everyone that she was her dad's only child. Meanwhile, her two half-sisters and their families are sitting right there! This woman just ain't right.
