Funniest part about that to me is that these people don't look at Al Queda and the other extremist groups as having any political intelligence at all ... they all think they just want to kill as many people as they can - but the truth is after the Afghanistan War (with Russia) Al Quedas top leaders all had extensive training in having a political agenda.

What am I saying? I fully believe that Al Queda could have enacted 9/11 as early as 1999, but they wanted to wait until the political environment existed in the U.S. to get the result they wanted.

Conclusion, voting Democrat in 2000 might have avoided 9/11 - Al Gore would have never reacted the way Bush did ... and not assuming that Al Queda expected and wanted our reaction is to dangerously underestimate our enemy.

Furthermore ... to blame 9/11 on the Democrats is hilarious to me when it was George H.W. Bush and Cheney who setup and ran the entire CIA infrastructure that trained the Al Queda leaders how to fight the Russians and win by using terrorist like paramilitary tactics in the first place. Clinton may not have gone after the problem with enough intensity, but Bush Sr. created it in the first place - so who to you blame? Me, I blame all the politicians, they all have failed us miserably for too long.
