Bush-appointed Federal Judge resigns after DUI cross-dressing arrest

U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Robert Somma, 63, has resigned after pleading guilty to a D.U.I.
He was in his Mercedes and wearing a cocktail dress, fishnet stockings and high heels at the time of his arrest last week -- which was occasioned by his allegedly rear-ending a pick-up truck in Manchester, N.H. last week. His wife was out of town at the time of the incident.
The Boston Herald notes:

“He was serving a 14-year appointment. This will leave him without a pension.”

I'm picturing a tasteful black knee length sheath, with the fishnets and some fabulous earrings.

I think he probably skipped the pearls as he is 63 and pearls can be ageing

I want to see pics. I bet he was an awful drag queen. These guys should just come out of the closet, then they can get some fashion tips from the real drag queens and stop embarrassing themselves.

I m ust admit that I feel bad for cross dressers. As women we get to wear pretty much whatever we want - pants, dresses, skirts, shirts, etc. We can even wear a shirt and tie and it is seen as a fashion statement. Then if a poor guy wants to wear a dress he is labled a cross dresser and a freak. I feel they should be allowed to wear whatever they want too. As far as the drinking and driving goes though - he should be shot!

funny. the Government can find out i owe $2.76 on taxes from 4 yrs ago, but Bush cant find out somone he nominates is a cross dresser?

so DUI arrest and conviction will leave him without a pension?

he's an idiot for driving drunk but i don't really care if he's a cross-dresser. what irks me is that the repubs are the last ones to stand up for any minority's rights, be it cross-dressers, gays, transgender people, single mothers, etc...
