Giuliani is my favorite Republican candidate. I support him because I feel he's the only candidate who has a strong chance of beating the Democrats. A lot of moderates and liberals find his stance on social issues attractive, and I think this is key.

He can also get the vote of a lot of the members of the younger generation who are fiscally conservative and socially moderate to liberal.

Republicans need to be focusing on not getting the most conservative or most stereotypically Republican candidate, but the candidate who has the best chance of securing a Republican win in 2008, and I believe that is Giuliani.

    rofl, Giuliani?

Mr. Gun control... oops, now he's all for the NRA..

Mr. Gay rights.... oops, now he's against them..

Mr. Illegals Amnesty.. oops, now he wants to kick them out..

Mr. Pro-Choice... oops, now he wants to repeal Roe v Wade.

    You buy his act?

The guy has turned 180 degrees from every stance he's had so he can court the christian nutcases and dimwitted Joe Sixpacks.

The democrats have fielded better candidates in a toilet bowl after lunchtime. And really, after 6 years of Stalinism and insanity, bankruptcy and war, why in the name of hell would you want another Repug Bush clone in office???

I don't agree with everything he stands for, but I do believe out of the other Republican candidates so far, he can appeal to the widest demographic.

yeah but again.. after 6 years of Bush, why would you want another lying, corrupt Republican in office. Most of them are under investigation fer gawds sake.

He is interesting to listen to. I guess because you always expect him to say something off the wall.

A-to the mothafuckin-MEN Grimmy! If the public votes another Repug into office, then all of my faith (what little is left of it, given the state of apathy our country is displaying) for good ole' Mericka is completely lost.
