Talking Bush's 'important speech' about why the Repukes lost. The arrogance

Blogged live, as he's flapping his jaw on tv right now:

UPDATE: Bush just said that the Republicans lost because the American people just didn't understand the importance of the issues. - so not only are they traitors, terrorists and appeasers, the american public is apparently drop-dead stupid because they kicked the Repukes out. WAY TO MAKE NICE

UPDATE: Bush says Iraq is not having a civil war. Oh, keep it up.

UPDATE: Bush is still defending Iraq. He says we're going to stay. Oh boy, he's in serious trouble. The next two years are going to be all about the disaster in Iraq. If you thought the Republicans paid a price last night for Bush and Iraq, just wait for the next elections, congressional and presidential. It's going to be a disaster for the Republicans.

UPDATE: Bush just admitted that he lied to the media last week when he said that Rumsfeld was staying for 2 years. And get this, Bush claims he didn't mention Rumsfeld leaving last week because he didn't want to influence the election. Huh? Why wouldn't Bush try to influence the election? That's what he just spent the last several weeks doing? So he's lying again, about lying.

I hate to listen to him talk.. I donot know of one Texan who calls America, oh hell I can't even spell it the way that fucking moron says it. He is a bully, notice the way he speaks to journalists? He pisses me off --they were asking some decent questions and he treats them like they are dumb which is just to cover up how dumb he is.......

I didn't get to watch, but I can imagine the smug "I just sniffed shit" look he must've had on his face.

It's the look of knowing you can't totally ignore the Constitution for your own purposes. The look of knowing you can't control Congress. The look of knowing your party just got fucked.

I watched it and boy is he like a bully on the ropes. He's so fucking defensive that all I can predict is him trotting out 911, flags, God and similar whenever the Dems don't let him get away with some sort of crazy shit. They damn well better start looking into this asshole, misappropriation of funds in Iraq would be a good place to start. I officially call him as worse than Nixon. He makes Nixon look like a, well, Quaker.

The thing that pisses me off the most about his speach is him saying that this isn't the time to split the country into red and blue. Isn't that what he and his gang of merry fuck ups having been doing for the past six years?
