It promised to be one of the glitziest evenings for ticket holders, with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Joan Collins in attendance.
But now former US President Bill Clinton has received a backlash from 'angry' guests who were left disappointed after turning up to his fundraiser in London on Tuesday night.
Attendees have now branded the bash the "worst party ever", claiming the venue smelt and it was too crowded with people.

Slated: Bill Clinton has received a backlash from angry guests who attended his fundraiser on Tuesday, who have complained about the queues and smell

One guest complained to theDaily Telegraph that guests were left waiting outside while the A-list stars were first allowed inside, despite them paying up to £1,000 for a ticket.
Supermodel Lily Cole, Will.i.am and even Princess Beatrice were among the attendees who turned out to see Clinton's speech about climate change for his Clinton Foundation Millennium Network.
A source told the Telegraph: 'We arrived, there was perspiration dripping off the walls and the place absolutely stank. It was like walking into a cave.
She's all white: Gwyneth Paltrow brought some showbiz glamour to The Millennium Network Event

'We left at 9.15pm with a number of other people as the place was too crowded, too unpleasant and nothing had happened.'
Other guests have complained that Clinton only spoke for two minutes and some were even unable to get into the room where he was speaking.

Marie Phillips, author of Gods Behaving Badly, added on Twitter on the night: 'I'm in! There is literally damp dripping from the ceiling. Clinton talked about climate change for 30 secs. Now chugging cocktails.

Star guests: Celebrities including Gwyneth and Joan were reportedly ushered in while guests, who had paid up to £1,000 a ticket, were left waiting outside

Blonde beauty: Gwyneth was at the event at the Old Vic tunnels to co-host it

'And now! An exclusive performance from Black Eyed Peas! Or, in tonight's incarnation: some guy pressing play on a laptop.
'WORST. PARTY. EVER. The queue was the highlight. Unbelievable.'
But it was certainly an eclectic crowd at the Millennium Network Event.

Paltrow brought Hollywood glamour to the bash and turned up in an all white outfit and a winning smile.

The 39-year-old star donned a bright ensemble held at The Old Vic Tunnels in Waterloo.

Speech: Clinton's daughter Chelsea also spoke, but some complained they couldn't even get into the room to hear them

Gwyneth was seen waving to fans and photographers as she arrived at the event, showing off her trim figure in a white top with embroidery detail and a pair of tuxedo trousers.

The mother-of-two had her hair teased into loose beach waves and had heavy eyeliner for the occasion, as other guests watched her ushered in to the venue straight away.

The Millennium Network is part of the Clinton Foundation and former President Bill and his daughter Chelsea were there to support the event.

The fundraiser was arranged to help raise funds for the organisation which aims to improve global health, strengthen economies, promote healthier childhoods, and protect the environment.

Party people: Lily Cole and Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Dave Clark also attended the event

Me and my pop: Chelsea Clinton posed up with her father Bill

Will I speak? Yes I will: Will.i.am took to the stage during the evening to talk to guest, but they were left unimpressed

Guests, who paid upwards of £120 a ticket were said to have been treated to music, speeches and drinks as well as the chance to mingle with the familiar faces in attendance, but it now appears they were let down by what they were promised.

I like her outfit, what I can see of it.

It's really shitty that paying attendees had to wait while celebs were ushered straight inside.

    The event sounds awful.
