So, yesterday, Limbaugh called a woman who wanted to testify a congressional hearing on contraception a "slut" because she wanted insurance to pay for contraceptives. Even though she was trying to testify on their beneficial, non-contraceptive value for a friend of hers who wasn't even having sex. Today, instead of apologizing, he went even further saying that the coverage should be contingent on her posting videos of her having sex. See story below. I can't even fathom this guy or someone who listens to his show or respects his opinion about anything.
Limbaugh Doubles Down On Sexist Attack Against Sandra Fluke, Demands She Post Sex Tapes Online
Yesterday, as ThinkProgress noted, conservative shock jock and strident women-basher Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown student who House Republicans wouldn’t let testify at a contraception hearing last week, a “slut” and a prostitute. “She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception,” Limbaugh said.
The remarks drew widespread condemnation, with House Democratic Leader Nancy Polosi (D-CA), demanding that “Republican leaders in the House to condemn these vicious attacks on Ms. Fluke.”
But on his radio show today, Limbaugh showed no remorse and instead reveled in the attention. Referring to Fluke, Limbaugh demanded that women post sex tapes online if they use insurance-covered birth control:
LIMBAUGH: So Miss Fluke, and the rest of you Feminazis, here’s the deal. If we are going to pay for your contraceptives, and thus pay for you to have sex. We want something for it. We want you post the videos online so we can all watch.
Limbaugh also said he found the outrage over his remarks “absolutely hilarious.” He again completely misrepresented Fluke’s testimony, saying, she “went before a Congressional committee and said she’s having so much sex she’s going broke buying contraceptives and wants us to buy them.” In fact, Fluke testimony was about a friend — who is gay — and needed contraception for medical reasons, but was denied coverage by Georgetown, a Catholic university.
He went on to say, “I will buy all of the women at Georgetown University as much Aspirin to put between their knees as they want” — a reference to Rick Santorum-backer Foster Friess’ home-spun idea of birth control.

Bomb squad reportedly called to Rush Limbaugh's Florida homeI bet it turns out to be a box of birth control pills. Of course, he probably wouldn't recognize them if he saw them.

PALM BEACH, Fla. – A bomb squad was called to the Florida home of conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh Thursday, WPTV reported.
A suspicious package was reportedly found on the premises of Limbaugh's home in Palm Beach.
Limbaugh made headlines earlier in the day after he described Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown University Law student who testified at a congressional hearing about contraception, a "slut" and a "prostitute."

What's wrong Rush, your Dominican rent boy isn't there to suck your balls? Because it's not like his wife (or any of his wives) ever have or will. This shit from a guy busted carrying illegal Viagra and Oxycontin with him (and blaming it on his maid).
Out of anyone on this planet, I want this guy to be caught in the nastiest, most humiliating scandal ever.
And Hannity too!
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.

You can also leave a snarky comment. Hopefully, somewhere out there, there is a Republican with balls. He/she just hasn't identified him/herself yet.

This was very encouraging news because I don't think I've ever seen advertising blowback on any of the offensive stuff that Limbaugh has said previously:
Rush Limbaugh Advertiser Sleep Train Pulls Commercials In Wake Of Sandra Fluke 'Slut' Firestorm
One of Rush Limbaugh's advertisers announced Friday that it was pulling all of its commercials from his radio show in the wake of Limbaugh's incendiary comments about a female law student and contraception.
After being bombarded on Twitter, mattress store Sleep Train said that it would no longer advertise during Limbaugh's top-rated show following days of outrage over Limbaugh's statements about Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown student who was denied a chance to speak at a Congressional hearing about birth control.
"We are pulling our ads with Rush Limbaugh and appreciate the community's feedback," the company wrote in a tweet.
Limbaugh called Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute," saying that she was having "so much sex" that she wanted the government to pay for her contraception. Then, he went further, saying, " if we're going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something for it. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch."
The comments elicited fierce condemnation from politicians and pundits, and a campaign began on Twitter to ask Sleep Train to pull its commercials from Limbaugh's show.
Sleep Train, one of the biggest mattress retailers in the country, has been targeted before for advertising on Limbaugh's show. This time, though, the campaign worked.
Other advertisers are also fielding angry messages on Twitter. The company ProFlowers was besieged by tweets:
@ProFlowers
ProFlowers@DCdebbie @ProFlowers DC, Rest assured, your feedback is heard. We heard about the comments and we will reevaluate our marketing plan. -Cori

So far, it seems only Sleep Train has actually yanked its ads from the program.
Eric Ericsson from Red State (I refuse to link) says Rush was just using satire to make a point. Bullshit. Rush believes that tripe through and through.
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.
Anybody who defends this latest Limbaugh stunt is dead to me. By the way, I think I heard that Boehner, a Republican, actually condemned it.
Sandra Fluke responded to Limbaugh's comments in a statement on Thursday.
"I thank the thousands of women and men, including members of Congress, Georgetown University students and faculty, and total strangers of all political stripes across the country who have offered kind words and support following recent egregious personal attacks," she said. "We are fortunate to live in a democracy where everyone is entitled to their own opinions regarding legitimate policy differences. Unfortunately, numerous commentators have gone far beyond the acceptable bounds of civil discourse. No woman deserves to be disrespected in this manner. This language is an attack on all women, and has been used throughout history to silence our voices. The millions of American women who have and will continue to speak out in support of women's health care and access to contraception prove that we will not be silenced."

I sometimes listen to him in the car for shits and giggles. A guy called up his show and said that feminism was created by ugly women in order to feel validated by society.Limbaugh did not disagree.
