Major U.S. news sources claiming Osama Bin Laden is dead
I don't have any written articles or news sources yet, but CNN and Fox News (ugh, I know) are both reporting that Bin Laden has been killed.
President Obama is about to make an announcement on U.S. tv, so we'll see. It's almost 11 p.m. EST, so you have to think it's fairly serious, anyway.

The cynic in me is thinking he's been dead for a while and just being trotted out now; but the other thinks that this is for real.
The cynic in me is trying to remember if there are some sort of elections soon.
The even bigger cynic is wondering how big of a deal this is within the Al-Qaida organization to begin with. I'm sure there are a lot of others ready to take over for him. Kinda what happens in Mafia families.

Well that only took about ten years. About time that fucker is gone. For awhile there I thought he was dead and those videos of him speaking were all bullshit.
CNN is saying that he was killed in a mansion in Pakistan and that he had family members there.
They are showing in D.C. People cheering and shouting "USA!"
This was followed by people singing " Nah nah nah nah, hey hey hey, good bye."
Really happy for the people who will receive some closure from this, it's been a long time coming.
