I bought the movie this weekend and loved it. It was a good movie and gave some background on Wolverine, just as expected.

Gambit was HOT! Wish he was in it more. Lots of hot guys really.

Now Wolverine's brother was Sabertooth in the Wolverine movie, but there was also a Sabertooth in the original X-Men movie. Are we to believe that was his brother later? That he grew taller, his face changed and he had long red hair? If it was Logan's brother, he was killed in the Statue of Liberty in the original X-Men movie.

Default Gavin Hood and Len Wein Talk X-Men Origins: Wolverine in Video Interiew

During the video interview conducted by Slashfilm, the creator of Wolverine, Len Wein and the director of X-Men: Origins talk about the film and the benefits of Blu-ray.
Giving birth to such comic book characters as Swamp Thing, Storm and of course Wolverine, Len Wein feels the current direction of Logan doesn't bother him at all...in fact, he feels the character is being transitioned properly by Gavin Hood. Hugh Jackman in Wein's opinion, is actually dead on when it comes to the portrayal of Wolverine as displayed in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

The video below is the full length interview involving both the director and Wolverine creator, but not at the exact time...instead the interviews are conducted one after the other.

'Wolverine' is a prequel to X-Men, so Sabretooth was his brother in both movies. The reason Wolverine didn't remember Sabretooth in the X-men movies was because he had lost his memories. Since 'Wolverine' takes place years before the X-Men movies then Sabretooth would have time for his hair to grow longer, the height/face difference is just different actors.
