What to watch (Hulu, Netflix, Prime, even old fashioned TV)

Finished watching Firefly Lane - I really got into it and binged the last 4 episodes yesterday, but I'm completely underwhelmed by the ending, and have no desire to watch season 2 or read the books. After being so invested in these people's lives, I don't care what happens to any of them.

I'm blasting through Letterkenny, currently on season 2 but the episodes are so short I should have the whole thing finished by tomorrow night. It's so funny, I could never get into it when I tried watching it before, but it's really clever. I have to watch with subtitles though, because I can't understand half of what they're saying, but it's mostly the hockey dudes and they annoy the shit out of me.

The Sinner season 3 is up on Netflix. I loved Season 1, Season 2 was pretty good, but Season 3 fizzled. It started out with an interesting premise, but the ending was dull.

Australian TV shows on Acorn: I'm obsessed!!! 800 Words and A Place to Call Home! The latter is a sumptuous soaper that I started watching this morning and I cannot pull myself away...

The last thing I watched was a British drama called It's a Sin, set in the 80s, about a group of friends during the AIDS crisis. Definitely worth a watch if it's available where you are.

That one looks good, but I'm practically afraid to watch. I've been a big ol sap and way too empathetic to handle sad stories. The nostalgia soundtrack and styling might make me chance it though.

It's very good, it does have its lighter moments but it is definitely emotional.

My nephew is watching this as it’s “history”. I’m had to put up with my dad giving me lectures & putting that damned iceburgh leaflet next to my breakfast plate. Thank you but no thank you.
