So I finally managed to take control of the TV long enough to finish watching Bitten. Now looking for a new paranormal/fur/fangs type series. Recommendations?

Nope. But if you say it's good I'll give it a try.

I irrationally love Grimm. I can't say why exactly because it's not the greatest show ever. I just like it a lot.

Watched Tell Me Who I Am last night. Wow. I want to read their book, because the whole case is fascinating to me, although the book would not be able to cover the hidden past because they only just discussed it with each other in the documentary.

I don't want to spoil the doc, but I wish they could reveal names, especially if any of those people are still alive.

Have you watched Lucifer? It's funny, and he's so goddam charming (and hot). He reminds me of Eric Northman, only more whimsical, but with that same "IDGAF about what mortals think" attitude.

It's about the original colony and the jockeying for position for power, land, and not getting shot full of arrows by surrounding tribes. It stars a cast of people I have never heard of before in my entire life except one person Jason Flemyng (who was Azazel in "Xmen - 1st Class").

    The show's okay.

Grimm is a lot of fun, and easy to binge.

Just don't expect a lot of consistency - the writers were very clearly flying by the seat of their pants, and didn't really worry too much about lore and world building. So when you re-watch it, there's some glaring cock ups. The ending is quite weird (disappointing) too. It's annoying because it could have been a really epic, legendary scifi/fantasy/pop culture series if they'd given a shit about its legacy.

But... it's fun, it's easy to watch - good 'popcorn for the brain' viewing.

Eddie Murphy was excellent in "Dolemite is My Name." I was able to forget that the person I was watching was Eddie Murphy, became his role. This movie took me back to when my sister and I were little. My Dad ran a club like those depicted in the movie and the people reminded me of his friends, people that worked hard, drank hard and partied and laughed hard.
