What’s Next for the Cast of Jersey Shore

With rumors swirling about a second season of the hit MTV show Jersey Shore, all seven current stars admit they’d love to spend another summer in their Seaside Heights, N.J., beach house. Still, Tony DiSanto, head of programming at MTV, says there are no official plans for another go-around. “It’s a little early to tell,” he tells PEOPLE. “If we do go forward, I’d like to see [the current cast] returning. I’d love to bring back the kids the fans love.”
But if things don’t work out, here’s what the twentysomethings would love to do next:
NICOLE ‘SNOOKI’ POLIZZI
Snooki says she’s definitely found her home in reality television. “I would love to have my own show to find love … Snookin’ for Love!” she tells PEOPLE. “I love being in the center of attention. I need to be on TV.”
So single guys, listen up: “I’m just looking for a good-looking guy that has the same interests as me, a guy that can be funny with me, have a dork side and always laugh,” says Snooki, who admits that lately she has been too busy to date. “I would love to have a boyfriend.”
MIKE ‘THE SITUATION’ SORRENTINO
Expect to see more of The Situation on TV and maybe even on the big screen. “I’ve been hearing workout videos, spin-offs between myself and Pauly D and maybe even some acting,” he says of the offers he’s been fielding. “[There are] so many things happening right now that you just want to make the right decision.”
One decision he’s definitely made? Trademarking his nickname. “I have people working on it as we speak,” he says.
VINNY GUADAGNINO
“I have two routes in my life: entertainment and educational route,” says the show’s youngest male star. “I just took my LSAT.”
But Vinny isn’t sure if he’s applying to law school yet. “I’ve always been an entertainer or comedian and if I’m able to do that well, obviously that would be the route I choose,” says Vinny, who has acted in plays throughout his life. “If not, then I’m definitely going to try to get into law school.”
RONNIE MAGRO
Ronnie also is looking to explore comedy, but is thinking like an entrepreneur. “I’m trying to get the Ron Ron Juice out there,” he says, referring to the alcoholic beverage he whipped up in an early episode of the show. “I get hit up all the time [by people] asking for the ingredients and stuff like that! It really is [delicious], and the best thing about it is, it’s so good you don’t taste the alcohol.”
He’s also looking to open a tanning salon in New York with his father.
PAULY ‘PAULY D’ DELVECCHIO
“I like the camera now, so I wouldn’t mind doing some acting — maybe a movie or something,” Pauly D says. “I’d like to DJ around the world, too.”
And while he says playing records is his passion, he’s keeping his options open — and that includes modeling. “Maybe like fitness modeling or Calvin Klein or something,” he says. “No shirt!”
JENNI ‘J-WOWW’ FARLEY
The budding fashion designer expects to launch an eponymous line in accordance with Montage clothing by summer — and expect to see designs that reflect her style. “A lot of girls ask me about, ‘Where did you get that outfit?’ and everything, but I make ‘em,” she says, referring to her ripped jeans and barely-there shirts. “It’s fun, because it’s my style!”
SAMMI ‘SWEETHEART’ GIANCOLA
A soccer player at William Paterson University in New Jersey, Sammi is eyeing a career as a clothing designer or stylist after graduation. “I make my own [clothes] at home, I have my own sewing machine,” she says, adding that her style is “casual, fun and flirty.”
Expect something very feminine from the girl they call “Sweetheart.” “I like to do dresses, I like to do shorts, I like to do pants, shirts,” she says. “I would do everything!” –Lesley Messer with reporting by Diane Herbst
