We periodically YouTube out favorite parts. Probably my most favorite is when Driscoll (Gary Oldman) fights Clarence Worley(Christian Slater). “This ain’t white boy day is it?” Damn Oldman was fine in that part.

Just because I love quoting myself - I got home from working the night shift and after taking off my makeup, feeding the cats, packing a cone, I turn on the TV and what's on? Downfall! Bummed that Hitler's already dead, but I've still sat down to watch the rest. This movie gets me every time, I don't know whether it's the realism of the claustrophobic conditions in the bunker, or if it's just the madness of everything that happens in those last days, but most probably because I know how it ends for these Nazi fuckers.

Watched Redford in "All is Lost" a couple of nights ago. He did an amazing job solo.

Was it kind of like Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea"?

Another movie I'll watch almost every time it comes on - "Dunkirk" -- very foreboding and atmospheric

"Cat People" - with Nastassja Kinski (and Malcolm McDowell, John Heard, Annette O'Toole, Ruby Dee). Cannot take my eyes off Kinski in this movie. Loved the short hair, too.

As per usual, the Kill Bills are on and I’m watching them.

I've been thinking about the thread for awhile, because there are movies that are absolute favorites of mine, but I don't always watch them, because that requires me to really sit and pay attention. What this thread made me think of are movies that as I'm flipping through the channels, I will turn these movies on because I don't need to watch from the beginning, they amuse me and I can always have them on as background if I'm working or doing something else.

    -Legally Blonde
    -Jaws
    -Jurassic Park
    -13 Going on 30

From the Terrace with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. Trashy, glam soap opera based on a John O'Hara novel. I have no problem dropping everything I'm doing to watch it.

^^^She was so sexy in this movie...maybe because up until then, most of her roles weren't sexy or glam...and he had one of the most perfect profiles ever...

I'm always complaining that they don't show enough Paul Newman movies. What an actor.
