Was watching Tropic Thunder - I did not realize that Justin Theroux was executive producer and lead writer.

Also, am watching "Green Inferno" off and on right now. Holy crap, this is a really grotesque and atrocious movie. I don't even know where to start.

Have you seen his short film, "two cars, one night"? If you haven't, look it up. You can find it online.

I thought Cruise was great in it.

Mrs. Mo and I just came back from "Sausage Party". We saw it without the kids. We could only get seats in the front row, and even though the seats reclined, it was pretty unbearable, and the place was packed.

The movie was surprisingly good. They actually have a deeper message about people being slaves to organized religion in there. Edward Norton was really good as Sammy Bagel Jr., and basically doing an early 1970's Woody Allen impression. Nick Kroll was great as "Il Douche". So, was David Krumholtz as Lavash. I never would have recognized Kristen Wiig as Brendan if I didn't know in advance.

Also, even though the food orgy scene was only two minutes, it was bad enough that I was glad that my kids weren't there.

Florence Foster Jenkins. It was really cute, and Hugh Grant was great. What was funniest about it was the amount of women saying, "imagine a man loving you that much?? I mean really, imagine a man loving you that much??" while walking out of the movie theater. We were all amazed, ha.

"Plemya/The Tribe" - Ukrainian movie on Netflix. About a deaf student who goes to a new school (around high school level) and is sucked into a depraved gang that operates there. What makes the movie unique among anything I have ever seen is that it is all in sign language, with no subtitles or voiceovers. I don't know sign language, so I had to watch and interpret what was going on. It is very, very bleak, and is probably right up there in genre with "Irreversible" in terms of shocking scenes and themes.

I definitely wanna rewatch Tropic Thunder at some point. That movie cracked me up!

Last movie watched was The Secret Life of Pets. It was OK. Not that incredibly funny but not bad either. Unfortunately had to watch parts of it in Barf-o-vision cause it was in bs 3D and the kid would just rip off my glasses so he could hold my nose better (he was getting sleepy near the end) I hate, hate, HATE 3D. The day when movies start coming out in nothing but 3D is the day I stop going to the movies forever.
What if Superman is psychotic and everyone can see that he's Clark Kent but they just play along not to set him off?

    The Queen
    The Woman in Gold
National Treasure, (the 2nd one...forget the name)

All with Helen Mirren. After watching The Queen last weekend I searched out The Woman in Gold...then ran into the National Treasure movie that she is in. She is such a fantastic actress, I am wondering if her talent is as revered as Meryl Streep, or if I have just not been paying attention?

The Night Before. I love me some Seth Rogen but this one was just okay for me. A little more sappy than I expected.

The Lobster. Sput-send me a PM and tell me what the hell happened at the end!

Don't Breathe. This one was pretty fucked up. Worth a watch.

I've seen the lobster in my last flight and haven't seen the end because the flight was too short. I'll have to re-watch, thank you for reminding me

    Those People.

I really loved this movie. I was disappointed though that Charlie and Sebastian stayed friends and didn't become boyfriends.

I Am The Very Model Of A Modern Major General is stuck in my head now thanks to this movie.
