I'll look for that, I love a good scare. I'm scared of remote cabins too, especially at night.

But I'm also sick of congested traffic in such a populated area. We moved here because it was less populated and then developers leveled all the trees and built more condos, stores and office buildings, we're in the city again!

I still haven't seen World War Z, but since it got a good review here, I'll try to catch it next time I see it.

Forgot to add, last movie I saw was Alive. True story about a Uruguayan rugby team whose plane went down in the Andes, they survived by eating the dead people. I probably would've lost my shit.

Oh, wow. I have no memory of that crash, and just looked it up. I would have lost my shit, too.

The 197362384635th remake of Carrie with Chloe Grace Moretz. I HATED the shit out of it. She didn't say but three words the whole damn movie.

Mad Monster Party- Old school stop motion puppetry from the 60's. No Halloween season would be complete without it. I loved it as a kid and I still love it.

Took my dad to see the Equalizer with Denzel. It was pretty good but a little long in my opinion. My dad of course loved it.

The Spectacular Now with Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley. I really like this young girl as an actress. She is everywhere right now, and she just seems so genuine and likable. She is coming on strong like Jennifer Lawrence did, and I could see this girl getting a good and gritty role, and nabbing an Oscar. I also have watched Miles in several movies, and I like his acting skills, too. We have some very talented up and coming actors out there right now.

"Book of Life" - animated CGI film. Mrs. Mohandas is out of town and I took the kids to see it. VERY visually striking film. It reminded me of being on Disney's "Small World" ride. It seemed kind of unusual to see a kids' film that is so focused on death and the afterlife. I liked it and my kids loved it. I also ate wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much super buttery popcorn. Ugh....

    22 Jumpstreet

Not as funny as the first one but still pretty good.

    Papadopoulos and Sons

Objectively not a very good movie but it was pleasant enough and there were many good moments. And wow, George Corraface is very good in it.

I just showed that to my kids for the first time about a year ago. The main part that really struck me about the movie is when the woman is on a boat with the guy at the end and she says she feels about about being a robot, and he replies, "That's okay, nobody's perfect.....perfect......perfect.....perfect...... "

I liked it, not a great film, predictable but cute. I love Corraface and Stephen Dillane, so that helped.

I saw lone survivor. Meh, typical shoot em up war film.

I saw The Book of Life, the animated Guillermo Del Toro movie. Loved the Day of the dead theme, and the bright colors gave me a visual-gasm. Funny, cute movie, good for kids and adults.

Anything with Jon Hamm is good.

I watched "The Howling" yesterday on AMC.

I loved The Howling. But my favorite werewold movie from that time period was "American Werewolf in London", with David Naughton, Jenny Agutter, and Griffin Dunne. Directed by John Landis.
